It's the offseason. It's usually slower.

LOL, we're at THE SLOWEST point in the NFL calendar. I'm on here every day, but a lot of people don't spend their lives on the message board, either.

Compared to all of the activity we had during the draft yes its slow but believe it or not its has been more active than previous years at this time. For every mountain there are valleys and we are in one right now .Never fear I see a mountain coming up.:yes:

Not trying to stir the pot but the Lounge has been slower after the loss of Nabo (plus a few others who may have vanished after his departure). :(

The lounge may be deader then you'd like but suffice to say he deserved his banning. I'm not going to talk about it publicly but he did it to himself.

I think Twitter and other social media hurt message boards. Information and discussion was always among the first things that I came to the boards for. There are quite a few people I have become legitimate friends with through then boards, and now I just see them on twitter or Facebook, while also getting my info there. I still pop in from time to time to not be a ghost, and see what's going on, but 3 kids also makes that tough. And for some reason Tapa-talk took a huge step back from how it was a few years ago. It is real weird and almost useless to me at this point. Maybe I need a tutorial in it. Not like it used to be.

And for all of this...I blame the Mor.

I actually still use message boards in almost the exact same way that I did in 1997 when I got my first computer. I don't use twitter, and though I follow the Dolphins and other teams on Facebook, thats just information. Its not a conversation, or a discussion. That's what I get here and the few other message boards left that I post on. This board and a few others I'm on are actually the only place I have to talk about a lot of things, and I'm really grateful that they're still around.
