The Patriots big weakness is giving up big plays. Wallace's specialty is speed and big plays. Tannehill is a good downfield thrower. Watch out.

My friends who are steelers fans keep telling me Wallace wasn't that big a part of their offense. These videos beg to differ

Wallace had some drops. But overall I liked his work. A bit more concentration - and hopefully this year will help with a full training camp.

I think the videos can be deceiving. Game by game he made some big plays but when crunched together it makes it look like he was more of a factor in their offense than he was. It's not like he was getting 10 passes a game.

Any Steelers forum you go to, you will find fans who are bitter and say things like that, and reasonable ones will point out that the guy was a star, and has the potential to be great, while going through the pros/cons. He was just 'used out of position' for a bit. he was a very big part of their offense.

I looked up his drop stats from a year ago and compared them to some of the top WRs in the league. He was middle of the pack of said top WRs and in line with guys like AJ Green and Megatron. The metric I used was a "drops per target" percentage. Perhaps not a perfect measure but it does call his perceived rep as a poor pass catcher into question.

Some of those throws were threading the needle .They could have just as easily been intercepcions .I hope Tanny has been taking sowing lessons this off season
