Jeff Legwold, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports Notre Dame S Tom Zbikowski was 60-13 in Golden Gloves bouts as an amateur boxer and 1-0 as a professional heavyweight. Zbikowski knocked out Robert Bell in 49 seconds at Madison Square Garden June 10, 2006. Teams have asked Zbikowski if his boxing days are over. His response has been he will not box while playing in the NFL, but he also doesn't want to rule it out completely. Zbikowski said, "I'm solely focused on football, and then once you get into minicamp and training camp, you've got to do everything you can to make a team. . . .
