I think the stadium configuration does not allow the fans to feel like they can make an impact, so they choose the passive route, I think that has had a debilitating, eroding affect on this fanbase, especially because of where we came from, only the players suffer, combine that with poor teams and you have the situation we are now in.....I don't believe we have bad fans, just a poor environment for them to inspire their team.. If you don't think those statements are true, you are living in lala land and choose to throw insults instead of trying to have a discussion...

there were 4 separate occasions in this thread where you randomly blurted out when we were playing like sh^%, that ''oh, it must be the stadium'', or ''I guess the stadium is to blame''..I guess you really disagree with my opinion on this to have it so vivid in your mind..

once again you are wrong in your assumptions, now I'am a liar....yo man, wtf did I ever do to you but show you respect on this board??? I went to over a hundred games in that era, lived in west palm beach for 15 years....I know exactly what the differences are between the two stadiums..

Now I suggest you go back and read the rest of the board for the last two weeks. There were a ton of posts made about the fans and the stadium in one thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So for you to insist I was taking a pot shot at you was YOU assuming something and not totally true. TRUE to an extent because of the side you speak for. But totally false that I just single YOU OUT!

If you went to so many games then you should know that JRS had so many games during the Marino era that had that place rocking! Excitement was because of the players.

Now the team has had season after season of blah. Thats the culture given to the fans. Its not the culture the fans and stadium give the players.

 

We went to AFC Championship game in that stadium and made the playoffs six years in a row not all that long ago.

the game ended late sunday afternoon
