So throw it away, can't take a sack there a throwaway doesn't matter. Bad play for him. I defend him a lot but you can't take sacks in that spot. Glad it worked out in the end.

 

Safe call, play wasn't there so he threw out over Thomas's head to preserve field position and the situation.

To me on the sack, THill has to get that ball out even if it is a slider in the dirt

 

I know points are important..but we needed Sturgis to get some confidence. That looked like the Sturgis we know

what game you watching? tannehill not only kills his own receivers (gibson) but he holds onto the ball too long. he could have dumped it off to thomas for a short gain or threw it to a wide open hartline. that sack was all on him.

 

Meh, I think he still has all that Malcolm In the Middle money.

 

Thomas was wide open on the sidelines on that last 3rd down. How can Tannehill miss him?????

Amen...unfortunately it's like this team has an assault rifle pointed at their feet at all times.

 

Does anyone know what this play-action thig they are doing is? I keep hearing about it but I've never really seen it before. Apparently they tried it a little this 2nd quarter but I don't really know what it looks like.

TBH, Richie's "neck injury" looks like a concussion, to me he looks like I do at 1:30 after a bout with the local watering hole...that always wins btw

 

He's trying to make a play, he was not there nearly enough time to think about throwing it away.

The last thing you want is your QB creating a habit of giving up on plays early. I rather him take that sack now, if it means next time he does the same but finds a pass for a gain.

 

How much time to you need to throw it away? Yeah the Oline got blown up...it happens, in that spot you just can't take sacks you have to be thinking differently in that spot. Like I said I defend Tanny a lot on here and I'm not down on him but that play was horrible.
