I started watching it because I really liked Rachel Bloom. At least I this song. And my soft spot for musical comedies. They are different.
Not fair to Adam West Batman. Batman probably would have been cancelled if it wasn't for the popularity of this show. Plus it really put the Riddler into the spotlight.
The only thing that show accomplished was to make Batman so bad and stupid, it inspired people like Frank Miller to fix it.
The Comic Code Authority accomplished that. The show kept Batman relevant during a time when they had Batbaby.
Yeah, but the CCA was stupid-ing up all across the board in the comic world. I mean its not like the Adam West show was less stupid then the CCA version.
I'm a big fan of The Americans too. Think it helps that I grew up in the 80's so I can relate to it. Love Daredevil too, not watched the latest season, but have it lined up to binge on soon. Also loved Jessica Jones, which was right up there with Daredevil. They've done a great job with that whole universe and it makes me look forward to the upcoming shows they're going to do on Iron Fist and Luke Cage (who appears in JJ too), and the ensemble season/series they're going to do after them all has the possibility of being epic.
Daredevil is awesome and I'm glad they added Punisher and Elektra, who stole the show in my opinion. Though the season 2 finale had me conflicted about what's to come.
Anyone else been watching AMC's new series Feed The Beast? I find it charming and promising. Will likely be a keeper for me.
