Right now I am a huge fan of Gase and believe that he is a good coach. However, it is still premature to say he turned the Dolphins around.
One year does not make a turnaround. Just saying, if the Dolphins fall back to 8-8 and below records for the next three years, then it is not a turnaround. I think, "promising future" is a more accurate statement.
Coach field goal fist pump went 11-5 in his 1st year. Now he's trying to get Andrew Luck killed. Great start by Gase with this team though.
No doubt. Absolutely fantastic season by all accounts and I'm happily eating my healthy serving of crow .......... but as always "consistency" is the true barometer of these things.
Sparano, he's the Vikings O-line coach. Philbin is working with Luck. Our last two coaches aren't even coordinator worthy... They're coaching two of the worst offensive lines in the game. Gase is a nice find, but we clearly were held back by poor coaching.
