Apparently there was an update over the weekend and as soon as my system restarted it flased up 3 red lights - I unplugged everything took off the HDD and reattached and it worked OK but did anyone else experience any problems?
I don't think there was an update in the US...at least I didn't get anything when I got on. 3 red rings = your Xbox is crapping out.
in the US if it's under 3 years old Microsoft will repair the 3 red rings for free, not sure if it's different in Europe. You just have to call some 800 number...
Same here, though this will be the second time so might as well get one of the latest batch. The arcade version is retailing at $200 at the moment so might just bite the bullett and then switch the hard drives. Just p*sses me off though!
I've had 2 RROD, one freeze up, and one hardware failure all repaired for free. I'm not getting another 360 if this one ever breaks out of warranty.
I've heard people say they're on their 3rd or 4th 360! I've been lucky to get this far on the original batch and only have to send back once! (I know I shouldn't have to and it p*sses me off but hey thats life sometimes!)
Mine's been running smooth as silk thankfully. Of course it hasn't been used much lately because I can't stop playing The Show on PS3. I want to play it but that game is like a drug or something.
I'm on my 2nd wii!!!!!! Edit: No joke, my wii was acting up (before I chipped it), and Nintendo sent a replacement one very quickly.
