This should have been an option day 1 IMO.

A small step in the right direction by MS, but even as an Xbox fan, I like what Sony has done much better. Don't like the HD size? Install your own. MS has been asking too much for the 360 HDs from day one.

Being able to use a few thumbdrives I've got laying around should come in handy for some games though, like APF 2K8, so I can take my created teams over to a friends, etc.

You can now have a memory card for your 360 for about $5.

Thats really cool actually. Especially since I keep my 500gig external HD usually hooked up to my 360 anyways to watch movies from, listen to music, look at pics and stuff. be nice to be able to save XBLM downloads on it as well.

i think you'll only be able to use 16 gbs of that.

tbh, i'm underwhelmed. hackers store as much as they want, and even play games, on usb drives in homebrew xbox 360s. the hard drive in homebrew can be as big as you want.

the fact that microsoft restricts their customers makes me happy i don't pay for their games.

    whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?

well that's BS then. But I guess it doesn't matter much to me, i don't download that much from xblm anyways... but still, that's just stupid. You'd think they'd let you use as much as you would on an external so you can keep downloading and paying them for stuff. weird...
