During the telecast a few weeks ago they were talking about ball selection and how some QBs like it firm and worked or whatever and I think I heard Aikman say Rodgers preferred it as firm as the limit would allow. He said the refs didn't always check the ball and hinted it wouldn't be uncommon for QBs to try to get away with some things (being careful not to incriminate himself). I had no idea each team had their own balls and could rough the balls in and that conversation is much more interesting now in light of this scandal.
