Trying to pull the Gary Kubiak praise him before you slit his throat routine. Something tells me Tannehill won't struggle as much against the Jets as he did the Texans.
He won't melt down. I don't think he's that kind of player. But I'll be surprised if he's overly effective. Rex's D with Revis is just plain tough for a rookie, much less one lacking weapons.
All the signs point towards Tanny and company struggling against the D that Sexy Rexy will send at us...let's hope those signs are wrong...
Something small struck me during the Texan game. Early on you couldn't for the life of you tell Matt Schaub was the veteran by his demeanor. Every incomplete pass he threw, he looked like he was frustrated to the point of crying and throwing a fit. I wish I could screen cap his face to show you all what I mean. Ryan on the other hand looked unshaken even as the game just crumbled around him late second quarter. He definitely has the poise that even some very good QB's like Schaub don't have.
There will be a 1-on-1 match up advantage some where on almost every play. Can THill find it like he did last week? That is the question.
