Earlier this week the Dolphins signed OL Insanito to sure up some spots in the line. But still there are more wholes to be filled. And although I expect the Dolphins to be able to get great help from the draft I think it is a bit naive to think that our holes(#1WR,OLB,FS,NT) will be filled with our draft selections. So, with that being said, what remaining FA do you see as the best fit for the Dolphins and have a major impact in the 2010 season?
To me, Tye Hill and Nate Vasher are worth a look for the nickel bacl role. And pure speculation on my part, but Albert Haynesworth is due 21 million dollars in April or May, the Redskins are switching to a 3-4 and that is waay to much money to pay for a NT. Haynesworth was unhappy last yr because they were using him as a plowhorse, this yr..at NT...just keep an eye on that situation..
The initial signing bonus was tremendous though I'm not sure if they could stand to get rid of him. They'll simply place him at 3-4 DE. He's not likely to be a guy that will play disciplined at NT. I expect Washington to be the team that forces a pick on Dan Williams.
Spending another 21 million ontop of the initial signing bonus would compound the mistake no? This is soo typical of the Redskins, pour money on a Free Agent, then announce a switch to the 3-4, a move that hides rather than maximizes his skillset. April 1st is when his roster bonus accrues.
For WR My Guess is if they dont pick up a very good one at the draft -Kelley Washington -Laveranues Coles
Agree with you on one of the corners Padre. If we can get one of them signed for a decent contract we will be in great shape at CB just as we are at OL.
