I would say Long and Wake have strong chances. After that I'd list Fields, Bush and Dansby followed by Bess, Soliai and Starks with significantly weaker odds. I don't get why Davis is even getting mentioned as he can't even stay in the starting lineup at the moment.

I think Cameron Wake and Jake Long might be the only ones. Maybe Bush if he stays healthy.

Doesn't really matter it'd always be a name recognition thing id bet. You could try to include stats as a weighted vote I guess but not sure how that'd work

Because he played at a near pro-bowl level the second half of last season. The problem with Vontae isn't his ability, its his consistency. Any time you have someone that has that kind of ability, but is inconsistent, there is always a chance that he breaks out.

He has talent, but as I said the day we drafted him, he struck me as a player who got by on his talent rather than one who worked at it. In NFL history there have been very few players with enough talent to get away with that. Most who try that fail and it seems odd to mention him when he appears to be far closer to failing to even maintain his starting job than he is to turning it around and becoming a pro bowler. Reality is that there are guys with enough talent to have a chance to break out all over the league, guys like Roberto Wallace and Chris Hogan have the physical stats and talent to break out. The difference is whether they get "it" or not. The guys who don't get "it" have practically no chance to make the pro bowl.

i think i read that yesterday and i was excited to hear that because everyone says special teams is 1/3 of the game but nobody acts like it. its mainly used to give non starters a chance to shine. if its truly 1/3 of the game i would like to see starters play on special teams. that would give us a kick *** special teams and make it easy for us to score and easier to prevent teams from scoring. i don't want to hear "what about injuries". every play there's a chance for injury.

edit: i didn't mean to put that part about yesterday since your post was made yesterday. lol. i always notice obvious things after i make a post.
