I think Cam will be gone by Tuesday.

Mueller you don't know. Depends on how fast Bill can get another GM.

I could see Mueller resigning if the proceedings start getting public.

He will announce when he is good and ready to. If he can't bring in who he wants then why would he fire Cam?

Bill said to Chris Mortensen yesterday that to be fair to Cam and Randy, he needs to make a decision as quick as possible. I believe something will probably happen sometime next week. If Bill decides to make a change, then he will want to give Cam and Randy plenty of opportunity to catch on with other teams. The Senior Bowl is not only a scouting event. It's also an open interview for some coaches.

Watch his presser. He said Tuesday or Wednesday he would talk to Cam, possibly sooner with Randy. Then he would make his decisions after that.

He's never said that. He said he sit down and have a long discussion with him and then make his decision. Interpret that how you will but don't put words into his mouth.

Bill cowher has said point blank he will not coach in 2008. He will not be comming to the miami dolphins count on it. Not sure, but does the legeue prohibit front office people moving before the draft.
If so Ireland cant come before the draft. That means randy is probably safe until at least after the draft. Then ireland comes in afer the draft. The future of cam is not certain. It really comes down to who is available, desireable, fits bill's system. I wouldn't automacticly assume cam is gone regardless of what the fans think. BIll will find the reasons this team is so bad. Bill will not cave in to fan or media pressure to do anything, he will investigate the situation and act. I wouldn't have it any other way.

You people actually think there will be changes as soon as the day after the Bengals game? All due respect, you're nuts.

If changes are to be made--and that's a fairly large if, even though everyone has convinced themselves that everything will be different (again)--they won't happen until after the Senior Bowl for the coaching staff and after the draft for the general manager and scouts.

I know a lot of people here think Bill Parcells breathes fire and shoots bolts of lightning from his eyes, but that doesn't mean he's going to go Mecha Godzilla on the organization immediately.

As unlikely as it seems at the moment, it would be a good thing if Parcells saw enough in Cam to keep him. Oh, he needs to learn about time management, conditioning of players, and some other things, but he was a rookie HC.

If Cam was willing/able to adjust, we get to keep the same offensive system, and the vets could then help the new guys and rookies to learn the system that much faster. People tend to forget that the learning curve of knowing an offensive system can easily take most of the NFL season to "get it" and that means games lost that could have been won -if people were on the same page.

A terrible play call, terribly executed.

He might not have said those exact words. But if you read between the lines of what he has said, I think it's faily clear Cam won't be in Miami next season.
And probably, neither will Mueller.

According to Mort this morning, Parcells will meet with Mueller on Monday and Cameron on Tuesday and make a quick decision. Both are likely to be fired(coming from sources and common sense). He has to act fast because he only has next week to interview coaches that are in the playoffs. Hence, he will need to quickly dump Cameron and Mueller so he can talk to the likely new head coach and GM, Tony Sparano and Jeff Ireland. He can't hire those two until the Cowboys' season is over, but he can all but wrap them up next week.

Then what was that Jerry Jones said about them not being available until after the draft? I didn't understand that part.

I'm pretty sure that Parcells already knows what he's going to do and he's gonna do it fast....I'd say that Cam goes as early as tuesday...Muller could be kept for now and maybe even till the draft but I think he'll be gone sooner than that. When it comes to players I doubt we see any moves next week......of course as free agency gets closer you'll see a lot of guys gone as well.

If Cam was staying there would have been a show of support from Parcells. Cam is out. Mueller will be let go after the draft imo. Both are not in the future plans of Parcells' vision of the Miami Dolphins. Both reek of being loseres and dragging the franchise to a new low. Cam rarely had the team ready to play on Sundays. Not a good head coach. The deal is already in the works for Ireland and that's why Jones is talking about it. The sticky part is if we can get him right away. It's being worked on as we speak imo.

Exactly... and none too soon, as far as I'm concerned. Sparano and Ireland sounds great to me... let's get 'em in here ASAP, and put this horrible season behind us as quickly as possible.

Since Sparano and Ireland are Bill's "guys" I'd reckon that the urgency of having to talk to them next week is overblown. They will wait for him to sort things out here. I'm not so sure that Cam and Randy are let go as quickly as most of you are saying.
