Ill start by saying maybe there is no way to answer this. But, I am curious to see what others think. If Wayne Huizenga had sold the Phins before we brought in Bill Parcels.... Do you think Ross would have made a different move? Carl Peterson was still with the Kansas City Chiefs then....but he was at the tail end of his tenure there. Because he and Ross are such close friends, might have Ross brought in Peterson rather than Parcells. Its this question that has me stumped as to the future of the Phins...and really its a non football question. Its a matter of, what type of team does the owner want, and who does he fall back on to get football related advice? Do you think that Ross's vision of creating a "show-time" like atmosphere in Miami, gives any indication as to what type of team he would like to see built here. Putting myself in Ross's shoes, as a huge Miami fan, and with the ability to choose who I want to run the team, I would probably be more apt to want a more explosive style offensive team. And having taken over a team after another regime was brought in, I could see wanting to put my own guys in control. Whether or not I did it....would depend on how the team was doing at the time. One interesting thing I just found out...is that when Ross owned the Philadelphia USFL Franchise.....Carl Peterson was his GM, and they won the Championship the two years Ross had the team.
