Lol. What point would it have if I am honest to her when I'm caught?? At least I'll be helping myself and get her to at least respect me a little after she finds me non-trusting (is that a word?).
didnt see this thread till now. i say be honest. go to the teacher and explain. she will likely be 5 times harder on your friend than on you. Not that he's much of a friend. People like him ruin good people like you for the rest of us. if you want him to be "taken care of", im only a PM away.
F that. Beg for leaniency (sp?) If they adhere to the code tell them you will protest the suspension. Demand a hearing... call them all fasicts if you are not granted a fair tria with a jury of your peersl!
You wont get suspended. Unless schools have gotten far far tougher you're looking at detention maybe, and a zero on the paper maybe. I have a few friends who are college professors, they'd love to get kids kicked out of school for cheating but it isnt that easy to do. It takes a lot of work to even fail them from the class, so the system is most likely on your side. My guess is a makeup assignment and nothing else. Most teachers just dont push cheating that hard because they've accepted that most everyone is doing it, and they dont want the extra work that is involved in pushing it. You going to her will make any punishment even less severe unless she's a total *****, in which case you should have avoided talking to her and lied if caught lol.
Well the rules have gotten a lot stricter from my freshmen year for example. In my freshmen year, we didn't have honor code rules. At that time, one could cheat and the worst they get is a Saturday school. In my sophomore year, they introduced it and it's really strict and tough on punishment. Its basically three strikes and your done with the school. My teacher is really nice as I said and she was actually really worried when she told me that she received my email. I'm just going to be honest with her man. The inside of me is telling me to be quiet and then its saying to be honest. I feel like I should be upfront with her though.
That's Mr. Daddy to you. There's a joke in there somewhere, but I am to principled to do that. You're older than me so what does that make you? And you'll dive on blacktop to catch a football!
My teacher didn't say anything today other than that she didn't receive my email. I didn't send it last night because I waited to see if she would give the paper back to the kid with credit. She didn't so I'm still trying to figure out if I should be honest and send her an email about it or be quiet and see what happens.
Yeah and that's where I'm stuck right now. I was thinking to just be quiet about it and then if she confronts me about it, tell her what happened and ask her to forgive me. Then I'm thinking to be honest lol.
Today I talked to the kid and I asked him has she said anything to him. He goes "No, we're all clear." I was like, what? Lol, how are we all clear? He's acting like its nothing and I'm here going crazy about it.
Its not a matter of her forgiveness bro. She has rules and regulations that she is supposed to uphold as a teacher and cheating is one of the big no, no's. Dont get me wrong I cheated in high school. On tests, my girlfriend, I was a paper and person ****, lol. But I never shared anything with anybody. I was the other guy. The one that you should now beat the crap out of.
You arent all clear until he gets the paper back. He's clearly not that bright of a guy to begin w/, so him not worrying at all doesnt surprise me lol. Isnt your teacher left wondering what you wanted to talk to her about since you sent her an email already?
Alen, you ever thought of telling her you did it but misplaced it? That way, if she catches on that it was your homework he had you have an out. I know I said to tell her before, but that was before this suspension crap.
got that covered...he just admits that he has a secret crush on her and he didn't know how to go about telling her in person... jk btw alen
Yeah. Today she's like " I didn't get your email." I was like "Yeah, sorry about that. I had to help my parents with something." I really did though. I could have sent it last night but I was studying for three tests.
Ok new strategy. You tell her you did the assigment, but you can't find it. Then do it again only to provide COMPLETELY different answers.
I suspect that that liiiiiiiiiittle piece of information you held back there would have gone a long way in us helping you out. You already got credit for the work, so the only way you get caught is by her recognizing your handwriting which is completely unlikely. And if she does, heck, there's a dozen stories you can feed her (see my PN for one). Relax, dude. You're good.
Lol, I don't think I'll be able to do it again. Here's the thing, I don't know if I've mentioned it already but I've already gotten full credit for doing this assignment. She checked it like a week ago and gave me full credit. The thing is that she never went through my work, I just held it up in the air and she said "Good job Alen, full credit." What I'm worried is that she tells the difference between my handwriting and the kids handwriting.
But hold up, didn't he say at the beginning the kid wrote his name on Alen's work? That means Alen still needs to do the assingment right? EDIT: I read your previous post. Gotcha. Id say you're in the clear bro. And my strategy still applies. If she says something to you, tell her you can provide your assignment confidently, then come back and say its missing. This kid will take the fall as he is probably known as douche bag to the teacher anyhow. (Im guessing)
