Yup, every building is the same, there is absolutely no advantage that the building can provide, orange bowl atmosphere never once swayed points in favor if the home team..

The problem we have is that it's the worst in the league...the farthest from the field, no intimacy inside a stadium is a huge disadvantage for the home team, huge..

Not for one second, did the atmosphere in that building affect the adrenaline of our players and set confusion on the opponents....sure.

You can't create atmosphere like that unless constructed properly..

Man I kind of disagree. The crowd was so loud during those Reggie chants our own offense couldn't function. The problem is the fans not the stadium, they don't even try to make noise unless they are given an amazing performance by a player. They don't try to help the team on defense at all.

Bottom line, your team is playing on a neutral field...if y'all are good with that, ok..

No man we really aren't, our fans are just horrible as much as I hate to say it. If you have a packed house of 60,000+ people screaming it is going to make some hellish problems for the opposing team regardless of stadium acoustics.

I've been to Phin games at Sunlife....the issue is the fans all sit on their hands 95% of the game until something happens and the stadium is 3/4 full or even less often.

No Alex, it's not the fans fault, the distance doesn't allow them to feel engaged into the action, it's more spectator..

Watch the raven game tonite, it's almost like they have to stand and get engaged because their so close to the action, this is when you can make tangible differences in your players and opponents..

Think about this....THE DAMN BUILDING is costing our economy 100 and 100s of millions off dollars because its a P..O..S and the NFL, even thou they love comin to maimi to showcase their sport on the biggest stage, don't like to do it" in P..O..S stadiums...that's fact!, but y'all are ok with it? What!!?

If they do these upgrades that they have been talking about for years, they better do it right.

Everything I'm saying your not hearin., they sit on their hands because their so far away, subconsciously their not engaged because of the distance.

I saw a shot of the distance the other day that had me laughing it was so bad, if you stand up on your own you look like a pea to the players..lol

I think you can add Arrowhead into that too

  9. I remember that game and it was of my fonder memories as a fan. Marino saved the perfect record.

I never attended a Phins game there but the Canes games there were insane, as well.

I've seen an advantage a hundred times at Joe Robbie stadium. When the team was damned good and had high expectations. It gets plenty loud and can frustrate the opposition. After the Dolphins beat the Colts in the 2000 playoff game, Payton Manning, who had to waste a timeout down near the east end zone, said that it was so loud that he could not hear himself think.

The problem is, is your continuing to compare it to the Orange Bowl, and there will be no new stadium built here so you're beating the living crap out of that dead horse. The only thing that will ever happen is a renovation project and it seems that our owner is going to hold out every last drop of hope that he gets some public funding to do it. They were supposed to start at the begining of 2012 with some of the renovations but.......
