mine's pretty self-explanatory. i'm originally from florida, and living in washington.... so "texasPHINSfan" just made sense. seriously though, no real fun story behind it. i was in texas at the time when i created the account, and i'm not an internet/forum guy, so i didn't (and still don't) really have a "handle".... and i suck at creativity, HEY!
Yeah, he reminds me of somebody too {Enter Jon to change my name or do something else silly in....5...4...3...2.......}
Waaaaaaay back when AOL first came out my sister was installing it onto our dinosaur of a computer. She was setting up our screen names and asked me what I wanted to be. Meanwhile I was playing Madden Football on the Sega Genesis with my cousin. It was one of the early 90's versions. Real old school. I didn't want to be bothered with it at the time. I was selecting my defense and the play I was choosing was "Monster Blitz". So I told her monster blitz. She said that won't fit. I said, "Make it work." long before that Tim Gunn guy made it trendy on Project Runway. Hence, MonstBlitz. I've stuck with it ever since.
I remember that guy. I still can't recall whether I liked him or not. But he had a rivalry with somebody back at AOL. And one of the 2 was a prick, just can't remember if it was Joey or the other guy.
If you don't know the meaning behind my name, you aren't an informed Dolphin fan. But for the Jet fans, and all those front runners jumping on the band wagon after last year's overtime win against the Ravens: "Don Shula can take his'n and beat your'n or he can take your'n and beat his'n." - Bum Phillips
i didn't know that, and that's hilarious. good work! oh, and i love george carlin and have always loved your avatar... but feel that you have desecrated him with that joker filth!
Actually, if I remember right, he used to get into it with pretty much everyone over there that didn't agree with him Like you said, there was this one dude once that really started a back and forth with him but I cant remember his name... I do think that other guy was a Jets fan though...but I really cant remember...
I think that is right. That's why I couldn't remember who it was who was the real prick. Joey was annoying and his main rival was a Jets fan. The Jet fan used to respond to "Joeeeeeey." That always stuck out. Good times, good times.
Took me awhile but I finally got the joke. I tend to overuse commas and have been trying to cut back. Probably a big mistake in this instance...
