What do we do if Flynn chooses Seattle and Manning chooses Cards/Broncos/Titans?

We could be "slow-balling" it to drive down his price some. So far he only has one visit lined up with Seattle, and his visit was scheduled after Chad Henne's that tells you something. I bet when all is said in done he doesn't get anything close to Kolb's contract.

NFLN is suggesting Flynn won't be getting starter type money due only playing two games & clubs afraid to do ESP with the recent failures of backup QBS getting $ & not delivering. They also mentioned that if Phillbin doesn't try hard to get Flynn, it would cause a red flag. They are guessing he gets backup $ & have prove he's worth it before getting a big payday.

I would let him compete with Moore for backup money. I really don't think Moore is as bad as some people make it seem like. He showed a LOT of potential in 2009 with Carolina throwing 8 TD's to 1 INT in his starts (also threw one INT in relief for a total of 8/2 ratio). Carolina flat out had a terrible team and he struggled in 2010 (Partially due to injuries) before showing some promise again for us in 2011.

He isn't a guy you bank your future on but IMO neither is Flynn. If you can get Flynn for backup money let them compete. I'd be really interested in what Moore could do in a Philbin offense and with better coaching.

I've been saying all along I highly doubt he gets anything like a Kolb deal at all....... I'm thinking when its all done it'll be a pretty reasonable one.

There could be a trade for a qb currently on a roster. But given Philbin likes building a team through the draft, who knows. The only advantage Flynn has over Moore is time in the offense. And he might be a tad bit more accurate. Otherwise, if the Browns like McCoy better than Flynn what does that say?
Weeden is a good qb, and probably more ready than any qb in the draft. Tannehill would likely mean the Dolphins are rebuillding, but how to you rebuild with such investment on the defense? Makes no sense.

if you are wanting Tannehill then you must not be wanting to win because the guy is a horrible qb I would rather Cleo Lemon at qb then Tannehill if we dont get a good receiver and a qb then we will suxk next year because matt moore as a fair qb nothing better.

For the long term, yes. Tannehill would be the best option at that point, but trading down and taking Weeden would be decent for the short term. He's a bit more polished than Tannehill at this point.

I don't know the real answer, but as has been our luck since Marino left, even when we do get a top 5 pick, there are either no QBs worthy of the top spots or the one or two that are there are gone...
