I got Witcher 3 recently, but haven't played it yet. I started replaying SW The Old republic, which I haven't played in a long time, and realized the new chapters are far more interesting than the original ones. Been hooked and playing it for 2 weeks now.

Started Assasins Creed: Syndicate last night, and I really like it so far. The graphics and player models are excellent, and the gameplay feels tighter.

After spending most of the past year playing Dragon Age, The Witcher and Fallout, I find myself continuously looking for chests and other loot, so I have to get that out of my system and just play, lol. Not that kind of game

Game is still alive with bunch of servers. IMO one of the best COD's ever. Its amazing how much darker the graphics were compared to the newer ones. I simply like the style MUCH better.

Well, the PS4 hasn't been around all that long, lol. If you're into RPGs, Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Witcher 3 are both excellent, and Fallout 4 is good. Those three, along with the last two Assassins Creed games, Madden, MLB the Show, Lego Hobbit, and Little Big Planet 3 are the PS4 games that I have.

I just finished the main story of AC: Syndicate, and I'm going to fool around with the other missions that are left and the DLC. After that, I'm not going to buy a new game until the end of march with the new MLB game, so I'll likely jump back into Madden until then unless I find something that I'm interested in on a huge sale.

My top 2 games of the last five years or so. Both are awesome, and bring their own strengths to the table.

I still play CoD4 and CoD2 very frequntly. I'm not nearly as good as I used to be. I'd even say that those 2 games are among the top FPS games of all time.

I just started playing Rocket League on the PS4. I'm terrible but it's a really fun game.

After being out of PC gaming since 2012, i was lucky to come across an edition of Civilization 3 & 4 complete that not only works on essentially any version of Windows from the last 15 years, but doesn't require the disc to play after its been installed, and didn't even need to be registered. (previous versions only worked on Windows with XP emulation) I'm really excited, and between the improvement from it being installed on the hard drive, and the fact that my Windows 7 laptop is much faster than my previous Vista one, the game just flies.

I've been playing Hearthstone over the last 7 months or so as a casual, slower paced, but fun change of pace.
Hearthstone has a new hero released that you unlock if you get a WoW character to level 20.
I downloaded WoW and am trying to get my char to lvl 20, 13 so far, but it's pretty fun but monotonous.
Led me to look at MOBAs and I decided on DOTA 2 since all heroes are free.

I'm now playing DOTA 2, and trying to learn to be a good player. It's fun, deep, complex, rewarding, and frustrating all at the same time.

Seeing the updates to Squad, I might get back into that for FPS fix as well.

Cool stuff man ive been into hearthstone for the last year or so. Pretty damn fun if you can avoid getting pissed off at RNG, which I usually cant. Lol. I got lady liadren but it was pretty easy because me and my gf are already casual wow players. Leveling up to 15 is the tedious part but once you get to 15 you get the instance dungeon finder and it makes it alot easier.

and yeah as someone whos been playing dota for like 10 years or something crazy, its definitely the best moba hands down. Also the hardest, but it makes it more rewarding. The best thing you can do to improve is to literally play all the heroes until you have a fundamental understanding of how each is played, even if you only like playing 1 or 2 heroes it helps learn how to avoid things and ehat to expect which is the best way to get better faster. Map awareness and predicting the enemy is pretty much key every game. What heroes you liking?

Right now I feel more comfortable with ranged heroes so I play Windranger, Lich, Drow, and just started Shadow Shaman as a support, especially since the friend I party with plays Juggernaut so I shackle, he kills. For melee I kind of like Legion Commander, but I've only played 5 or so real matches, last three with Shadow Shaman. I suck at melee right now. Rest has been practicing against bots. Like you recommended I'm trying to learn all the heroes but sticking primarily with one or two in PvP to try to gain proficiency with a few heroes while I experiment against bots with the others.

EDIT: RE Hearthstone, highest rank I hit was 11. Having fun, but still deciding whether I want to pre purchase WotOG.

I just got into playing The Division. I am enjoying it to far. Lots of missions but they are set up so you can complete quick mission when strapped for time or go tackle bigger when time permits.

Finally finished Witcher 3 - loved it. Just starting playing Fallout 4. Didn't know much about it before starting it up besides hearing that it was great. Was a pleasant surprise that the game starts off in Concord, MA where I live. while the town isn't accurate, they put in a few details that are recognizable.

Was excited about fallout 4, but just couldn't get into it. After the Witcher it just seems too empty. May have outgrown Bethesda games I guess. Think I like more gritty stories.

I had never played a game from either series before last year. Loved The Witcher and couldn't get enough. "Awesome" doesn't do it justice. Fallout was fine. Kept my interest and played it through, but just an ok game. Not nearly on par with Skyrim. I doubt I'll play any expansions for the game and I also probably won't be into any future Fallout games.

For kicks, I started reading this thread over from the start, and I can't believe that I didn't post within it for the first 14 months. Its fun to look at what was "new and cool" a few years back, and how opinions may change after a game has been out for a while.

We borrowed Mario Cart for the Wii from our library today, and spent a few hours this afternoon playing. My wife and I played Double Dash a lot for several years before her Gamecube broke, but it had been many years since I'd played, so I was surprised how easy it was to hump back in. My oldest daughter is very interested in watching us play, but surprisingly had no interest to give it a shot herself yet.

LoL is fun once you know what to do, but the player base can be very toxic - especially when you're locked into a match for 20 minutes with a feeder or a jerk off. It's better to play with friends. I played it for years, starting in beta, but I had to quit because I couldn't commit to 30-40 minute matches, and it just became too stressful for me.

Been knee deep in Dark Souls 3 right now. It's so good, much better than 2 and might be just as good as 1

Listen man, you shouldn't have done that. Normal games don't matter at all. I stopped getting mad about them the moment i hit 30 and started playing ranked for "serious" league and even then i get people in RANKED trying new champs at all times because they are idiots. When i try to pick up a new champion i generally look up a guide, skim thru it and maybe watch a quick video, and then dive in to a normal game. Which is, believe me, more than what 90% of people do for normals. They usually autolock something and "lol yolo" in chat.

Get used to playing vs people. The grind to 30 is supposed to help you get used to to the flow of the game vs regular folk. As for you concern of being "bad" again, remember nobody truly gives a damn about normals. Play the game, have fun.
