Started Just Cause 2 last week. I'm like 22 hours in and have only completed 11%. I don't play a lot of games but this thing seems like it can go on and on if you let it.
Finished the Witcher 3 after playing it for multiple hours, almost every day for two months. Wonderful game, and I really felt at the end that the choices that I had made during the game made a real difference. Loved it. Now, I'll either move back to MLB the Show, or back to Dragon Age: Inquisition. I read yesterday that the third big piece of DLC will be coming out for that one soon.
I've been pondering getting GTA for the PS4 when it goes down in price. Only got through about 75% of the story while playing it on the PS3 before putting it down to play something else and never getting back into it. Problem is that the PS4 version never seems to go below $30, even though the XBOX 1 version does. I can wait though.
Pokemon White 2. Figured I might as well since I enjoyed Pokemon White a lot. So far, my starting squad is on fleek.
Showing my age, I have absolutely no idea what half of that means, lol. I think that most people five or more years younger than me have been into Pokemon, or were, but I'm a bit too old. I've realized that I look at Pokemon the same way that people older than me often look at video games in general.
Yea, I had to use urban dictionary for "on fleek". I'm not too old for Pokemon though. I've been playing since red/blue/yellow.
It's awesome, I've been playing it nonstop. Once you get how to do the aerial things it makes it a totally new game.
Still playing ArmA 3 in the 506th. Still having a blast. My squad medic recorded our most recent mission. I'm in there somewhere…
Just picked up Gears of War Ultimate Edition for xbox one. Love it, brings me back. Poppin heads with the shotty and sniper never gets old.
Playing mostly Madden. Just finished the 2015 season with the Fins a second time, and did all of the offseason stuff, which is my favorite part of the game. Playing the final expansion to Dragon Age Inquisition too, but not every day. Its really good, and I'm stretching it out a bit, because it's likely the last time I'll play the game. Like a long goodbye to a friend. Planning on restarting The Witcher 3 when the first big DLC and the next update come out next month, using NG+. The plan is to then play that and Madden until the new year when I'll likely have a few new games.
Almost finished with Drake's Fortune in the Nathan Drake Collection. Dragon Quets Heroes is probably next.
Was going to download the new Witcher 3 DLC and restart on NG+, but then I realized that I first need to download a 17 GB!!! update for the game. Ok then. I guess I'll wait until I hopefully move next year and get real broadband, lol. At that point, the other, larger DLC should be out too. So plan B is playing more Madden until Fallout comes out next month.
Not sure iOS is the best platform to experience it on for the first time, but it's still one of the best games ever made. Enjoy.
Chrono trigger was a great game. Played it twice through when I was in high school. It not only was fun and had a great story, but one of my lasting memores is how the menu screens could be highly personalized. I'd never seen anything like it before.
I'll probably buy the DS version some time in the future. It was kind of an impulse buy, since I've wanted to play it for a while. I'm not having much problem playing it on a phone, though.
Just started playing Fallout 3 on my PS3. My puppy gets tangled in the wires, PS3 comes crashing to the floor, now it doesn't work anymore. I still have a PS4, but was looking forward to playing Fallout 3 before FO4. I'm going to go back to Dragon Age Inquisition. For some reason, my PS3 DAi characters didn't save so I couldn't transfer them over to PS4. So, now, I'm running through DAi all over again to get my characters higher levels for DLC.
That really sucks about your PS3! Dragon Age Origins happened to kill my original PS3, actually. It crashed the system, wouldn't reboot, and got stuck inside.
Just loaded up War Thunder (planes) and am having fun with it. As a young kid I'd play Chuck Yeager's Air Combat a ton on my 486 DX computer with a 2400 baud modem LOL, so WT makes me feel like a kid again. I was just looking for something new, glad I tried it. Here is Chuck Yeager for anyone curious. Spoiler
Pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say "Fallout 4". My ArmA unit is about to stand down for the winter. I have 2 more mandatory events and then I can forget they exist for four weeks. I've got Just Cause 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Dragon Quest Heroes PC version all due at around the same time. Still have Assassin's Creed Syndicate backlogged. Don't know how I'm going to play all these games.
Yeah, I think that fallout is likely the only game I'll be playing playing until around February. Then I'll get into ac syndicate before jumping into uncharted 4 in march.
I got a Mario itch and have been replaying 3D World for the past week or so. Should be done just in time for Just Cause 3 .
I put Fallout 4 away. Maybe mods can save it and make it interesting again in the summer. Moved on to the PC version of Dragon Quest Heroes. It's a little repetitive, but I'm having a good time. It feels like an action Dragon Quest game, not a Musou game with a Dragon Quest costume.
I'm looking forward to Squad coming out tomorrow. It's a standalone game made by the same people who made the Project Reality mod, the infamous BF2 mod that still has a large community. Spoiler
Just Cause 3, Dragon Quest Heroes, Assassin's Creed Syndicate… currently stuck on this batch of games. DQ Heroes is probably going to be the first to fall. But I have an overwhelming urge to play Fallout New Vegas again, to remedy the bad taste from Fallout 4. And my ArmA 3 unit starts back up this weekend, so there goes a chunk of time. Sigh.
Speaking of wasting chunks of time, I resubbed to SWTOR for a month to see what's new over there. Predictable side effect after watching 7 Star Wars movies in 3 days lol
Ordered AC: Syndicate on Amazon today, since $40 is probably the best price I'll find for a while. I think that I'll likely be finished with Fallout 4 by the time it gets to me.
I just started up the first Kingdom Hearts (the PS3 remaster) since I never played the series. Really digging it so far.
My wife enjoyed them. I hope that you do too, but it just felt like a disgusting bastardazation of Final Fantasy to me.
Kingdom Hearts' movement and action feels sluggish and imprecise to me. I can sort of get behind the Disney crossover setting, but the actual physical interaction with the game just ruins it, IMO.
Having spent dozens of hours watching it, it certainly seemed that way to me too. Very primitive and frustrating.
I thought they'd use the HD remaster to fix the action, but nope, it controls exactly the same. What a letdown. I made it to the swinging vines in the Tarzan area and just gave up.
