Im not a coach, so i can't say what he'd be great at. I do think he's a guy that we could put at qb and scare people with though. If you were an opposing team, you would not want to see a guy like pat white line up at qb. You just don't know what the offense will do with him in there.
Yeah, i know the responses i'll get, "well we know, nothing but suck!".
But we all know that we haven't seen enough of him to make a true judgment. the idea of casting him off seems wrong to me.

Exactly. The best players need to fill those positions.
But still, I hate to think that we've absolutely wasted an early pick. So maybe there's a place for him.
I was actually very surpised/excited when I heard we drafted him and still got sean smith.
Now at QB we are set and WR, as far as Pat's unknown ability, we are set as well.
I dont like half the formations he was used in or what he was supposed to do. Even when he had a shot in the steelers game he threw like 2 passes. They were all run calls and he even nearly got a first down on 3rd and 10 and nearly died because of it.
I would like to see him used in a wildcat or pistol style formation. I think he should throw some screens or something. Be more ****ing creative. I especially liked the pass he threw agains the Falcons where he faked the draw and threw it 10 yards past ginn. Only if he had more attempts. Too early to cut him lose, although his job is probably just going to be a creative wildcat/pistol option. We just need to let him pass more.

Any offensive snaps on offense are taking away valuable
playing time from better QBs and that includes the 3 playing in front of him.
I could see if he showed some semblance of playing football at a NFL level but he was terrible last season
I've been a Dolphin fan for 40 years and White is one of a handful of the worst QBs I have seen wearing a Dolphin uniform.
There comes a time when you just have to say we Fuc*** up and lets move on..the time is near for Pat

Well what I'm saying is your can't just throw him in to hand the ball off on a draw from the shotgun. Open up the playbook more. You can't judge a QB from throwing 5 passes with Joey Haynos running wild out there. You also can't say cut him loose because it was one year where he saw like 30 snaps.

That's it...we really know nothing because the regimes' plan of making him a QB has failed (so far). Their plan of making him a WCxQB has failed, so far. Any other plans they've had for him, we as fans are not aware of. He's not really a WR. He's not a RB. He's not a returner. He's not really a QB....He's an athlete without a position at this point. The sad thing is that since he was such a high pick, they are less likely to give up on him, meaning that some potentially decent WR, RB, TE or QB will be cut or traded (if we're really lucky) to make room for him.

it would be a mistake to put him in at QB ever if he goes in on the wildcat they all know it is going to be a run and if it is a pass and i was the defense i wouldnt be to scared i am a fin fan and if i see him as our starting QB i am scared for our team not the other team

before brandon marshall, you'd be right. But now that we have him, you're wrong. It doesn't matter who our QB is, with Brandon Marshall on the field, we can score from anywhere on any pass from any QB.
defenses will have to respect that, even if they dont want to.

I'll withhold judgment on White until OTA's/Vet Mini Camp begins, if he throws more accurately, keep him as the WC Qb, if he is spraying the ball around same as last yr..maybe white should look into baseball.

Well, last spring it was Cameron Wake, this year, it's the 3 CFLers and Pat White, in 08 it was Donald Thomas and Jason Allen.
