yeah it's pretty terrible...felix is the only reason to watch them. he deserves it but won't win it, just like last year. good thing they locked him up this past offseason
I'm baffled you have stuck around so long trolling and offending this board all day. I'll give you props. Usually when I battle this strongly with Dolphin fans here I get time off.
Get some rest Joe....there will be plenty of posts here for you to flame tommorrow as well. It's just like being a little kid before Christmas...the sooner you go nitey-nite the sooner you can wake up and watch the Jets get embarrased on prime time television.
waaaa.waaaaa!!!!! we were 1/2 game away from the super bowl you were 1/2 game away from the super bowl against us till aj duhe made you jesters his *****. 1-0 in head to head playoff appearances. i hope you guys do make the playoffs and meet us. its about time we make it 2-0. your super bowl drought is approaching the chicago cubs in its futility
The Jetson fan is the driver of the bandwagon bus. Absolute fact. Just watch as the Dolphins went up 35-7! Watch up in the stands and see how fast they're retreating into the night. Shoulda stayed for that one silly fans....
And there are even more Phins fans where the Jetsons are actually from .....NJ Oh wait! The Jetsons are not from any state. They rent from the REAL NY Team....
Darelle Revis isnt't 124 or the other guys. He's actually a viral video star. STRONG LANGUAGE!! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFDX-YCHSqE&feature=related"]YouTube - World's angriest fan doesn't take losing very well[/ame]
no he was bouncing around from post to post for the first couple years but he seems to have settled down and is starting to post to his potential
Hip hip HOORAY!!!! Hip hip HOORAY!!!! Hip hip HOO....... wait, are you saying we're gonna fit their entire team in a vagina? I didn't know Jet's cheerleaders make road trips.
Dude your 0 and 3 in your last 3..your smack is as weak...I feel like iam being a bully to a little kid.. I think I can vouch for us on something, we wouldn't be talking **** if our team was 0 and 3 against you..so what's that say about you that you are?..
At 2am when my brain's about to pass out?.... no, not really. I'll try harder next time to hold a higher standard.
IF its really joe......i miss you. if not. gfy and i hope you work at modells also. for the rest of your life....
Let's take a quick look at what Marshall has done against Cromartie in their six previous meetings: 2007 - Game 1: 7 catches, 72 yards 41-3 Chargers Game 2: 6 catches, 75 yards 23-3 Chargers In Marshall's breakout 2nd year, he had what were essentially two average games for him against Cromartie as his team was outscored 64-6 in two losses to the Chargers. 2008 - Game 1: 18 catches, 166 yards, 1 TD 39-38 Broncos Game 2: 6 catches, 55 yards 52-21 Chargers Marshall lit up Cromartie and Chargers on opening day and the Broncos needed every catch to pull out a one point win. If memory serves, this was the year the Chargers made the switch from primarily a man coverage scheme to a zone and they obviously paid dearly for it on opening day. However, the Chargers clearly made a nice adjustment and shut Marshall down in the second game en route to a blowout win. 2009 - Game 1: 5 catches, 49 yards 34-23 Broncos Game 2: 3 catches, 26 yards 32-3 Chargers Clearly, whatever worked against Marshall in week 17 in 2008 worked even better both times these teams played in 2009 as Marshall had two of his worst games of the season against Cromartie and the Chargers in '09. So to recap, with the exception of one game (which was his first game in a defensive scheme that did not take advantage of his skills,) Cromartie has held Marshall to an average or below average performance whenever they've played. Something tells me we're gonna see about 5-8 catches and anywhere from 50-85 yards from Marshall on Sunday and likely no touchdowns as he's only ever scored one against a Cromartie led secondary. Don't expect Marshall to take over this game.
The bolded part sounds about right, and is what I'm thinking as well. In fact, I'd project 6-7 catches for about 80-85 yards. But, where I disagree with you is I think he will score (at least once) Sunday night. He's due. And, whether or not he "takes over this game" is irrelevant. As long as we win, and we should, that's all that matters. Go Phins!
I dont see Marshall going off for 15 catches 150 yards here. I dont think anyone does. Not that he couldn't but thats not the way our offense runs. He probably will get a look or two in the endzone and is overdue for a TD. Cromartie doesn't scare me. Cromartie's two picks were given to him from the QB. Brady always just forcing it up to moss and flacco with a terrible throw to the other side of the field. And with Revis off the field it means guys like lowery and coleman have to cover bess or hartline, with Wilson being on one. I'll take that matchup. Marshall will be force fed though so he will get his catches. I'd like a screen or two his way because he makes guys miss in the open field, but thats above Henning's head.
Vinny, first post is awesome - great motivator! this post flat-out made me laugh. bravo sir, bravo! I will be wearing my orange Henne jersey up here in Seattle hosting a viewing party of Dolfans. Tell me if you can hear us howling from here
Give it a rest Revis. Antonio Cromartie SUCKS..and has sucked since his second season, and I have watched him play plenty. He can run well in a straight line. So if all we do is run takeoff routes on him, then he will be fine...but we won't.
