Dude at 8-3 I was flying high. I went to the game up in Foxboro, as I do every year, and that was the best road game I've been too (not much of a selection, have only gone to 6), but it was an awesome, awesome time. I was in the endzone where Feely's kick went through in OT and just euphoria from all Jets fans. Then there was Tennessee who I felt pretty good against, better than I did against Denver, and we went in there and played our most complete game of the season, just whipped the floor with them. We all started talking and planning Super Bowl trips, once again had refundable tickets to Tampa Bay, yada yada yada.... Then the collapse.
I think Mangina took the fall for Favre, who was brought in against his wishes....or am I just making **** up?
Mangini didn't want Favre, thats for sure. You can't just up and cut Favre and they had to do something to keep the fan base from burning down Woody Johnson's house, for now, so Mangini got the axe. He should've gone either way.
Brett's Farve + Mangina's decision making = turd sammich. You'll have two new faces next year. Losman and Shenanigan.
