Heres his pro day numbers - very very impressive all around.

CB Vontae Davis (5-foot-11 5/8, 201 pounds) worked out shirtless so he could display his great upper body. He ran 4.40 seconds in the 40-yard dash and had a 37 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 6.80-second three-cone drill. He kept the rest of his workout-drill numbers from the combine. He looked really good in the position drills

 

Can't deny Vontaes size and athleticism. If he's willing to be coached, then he can be special in the league.


But that's exactly what they said about Vernon Davis in SF. So we'll see.

 

His character issues concern me, would have preferred Smith.
