Some people need things spelled out for them when they try to make a point quoting someone saying "not always"
I'm not talking about the Eagles fans. I'm talking about anti-Tua Dolphins fans. I don't doubt there are unreasonable people in every fanbase.
Living in the Philly area, flipping on 94.1 WIP everyday and being practically forced to watch most Eagles games and living/working with Eagles fans, Hurts is highly regarded and looked at universally as the engine of that team. He was getting shredded his first couple years by fans but he’s on the holy shrine around here now. Can do very little wrong. He has his occasional doubters on radio but Ike Reese and Jon Ritchie always shut em down quickly. To be fair, Eagles are 9-1 and have very little to whine about. To be honest, seeing where our organization has been, we should also just be enjoying the ride as well at 7-3. We are coming. General Disclaimer: They treated Miami like golden gods on radio around here after our 70 point spanking of the Broncos. We were put on a pedestal and had Eagles fans shook. Im convinced they only lost to Jets because they peeked ahead to us in the schedule. Truly believe it. The fans/philly media still look back on that game all the time to this day as a “big game/Super Bowl type game” they won. They use Miami, Dallas and now Kansas City as “big games” and reasons why they feel confident they will win Super Bowl now.
I agree. I’d love to be the ones facing them. I feel in my bones we saw the best version of them 4 weeks ago but I don’t believe they saw the best version of us… by far.
