Move the goalposts if you want, but the previous one — that it wasn't clear if Tua could beat winning teams or playoff teams — has clearly been answered. Tua has done that already many times. So I guess the new goalposts are win against a winning/playoff team with a very good QB on the road in November, December or January. He hasn't done that yet, if that makes you happy. But note how the goalposts keep having to be moved, over and over again. I'm sure Tua will force these new goalposts to be moved too, and possibly this year.
I couldn't embed the video but Cheetah talks about the fumble on the short attached to this link: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2EEYL9-XWlk?feature=share
not impossible if you are elite. i would argue that you have no understanding of the position if you cannot understand the ability. Don't have such tunnel vision.
Hurts just threw an INT against the Chiefs because AJ Brown ran a go route because it opened up. Problem is that is not the route that was called. Ball was short and picked off. What does HOF QB Aikman say during the broadcast? "I understand what AJ Brown is thinking, unfortunately it is not always possible for the QB to set it."
They have scored more points on offense in the 1st half then we gave up the entire game. So there’s that.
He just had an underthrown pass that would have been a TD. They tush pushed it in, but Tua would be roasted as a weak armed QB if he threw that pass.
Aikman tried hard to not call it an underthrow. Even tried to say Smith adjusted to it to catch it in the perfect spot. But, eventually admitted it was.
I can’t imagine the strings we would see if those two drops happens to us. We’re a 1/2 game out of the best record in the AFC and all we hear is how our team sucks.
Great that KC lost. Marginally keeps our hopes for the #1 seed alive. More importantly, Philly plays Buffalo next (in Philly). If they beat Buffalo and we beat the Jets it's almost a certainty we win the division barring an impossible collapse against teams we should beat.
We'll all be rooting for "great arm" Herbert when the Chargers host the Ravens. East coast teams going to West coast isn't easy. So maybe, just maybe, Herbert can do us a favor there lol.
I’ve been told that elite QB’s don’t need good WR’s and that’s what makes them elite. They can just will their receivers to catch every pass they throw because…elite. Is that not correct? Lol
Having bad receivers will affect his stats but not minimize his impact on the game.... whatever than means.....
Wait. You’re just talking about results!! Who’s talking about something as meaningless as results?! I’m talking about throwing the ball far and scrambling. If a QB goes 0 for 50 and 6 INT’s no one cares. Did he throw a 75 yard INT? THAT’s what I’m talking about. Look how far that ball travelled! Elite!! Lmao
Sure they do, they compare Tua to every QB and think Sam Howell, Mac Jones, Ryan Tannehill, to name a few, are as good or better than him. Besides, I was referring mainly to the national sports media.
And if we play them again on a neutral field with even a semblance of fair refereeing I like our chances.
Sure, but it is far more likely to complete passes to the routes that are actually called. So, WRs should run the proper routes.
Hurts would only be roasted if he were the Dolphins QB. All non-Dolphin QBs get a pass from the anti-Tua crowd.
I'm not negative. I just have eyes. Until the Chargers get rid of Staley, they won't be winning a damned thing.
