Terrible pursuit and missed tackling. Game over without a miracle. Assuming a Buffalo loss... any reason to not call this season DOA?

This loss is NOT on the offense.

    Season over.

Someone named Chris Grier better get fired tomorrow. I dont even care who else they fire at this point, coaches, players, janitors. Just fire Grier first.

Team has no heart, no fight, no nothing on D in the second half. Just pathetic all around. It's over, the slight crack in the window we had, or thought we had is all but closed with this core, yet now were stuck with it thanks to Grier and his big contracts.

What a disappointment. Offense was decent but defense is crap. Thing is, we have a lot of weak teams on our schedule so we'll still win a bunch, but probably not enough for a playoff berth. And it hurts our draft position. Looking like a crap season.

Yeah there have been numerous reasons why people didn't want him, and there largely all related to each other. We didn't want to draft him because of the nasty hip injury, combined with less than stellar physical traits. But we drafted him anyway. Most of us "haters" said that we weren't happy, but thought that Tua would have a good NFL career, barring injury.

Yet what we have seen in the NFL is that Tua just can't stay on the field. That is the problem, and it was a concern for some of us way back when he was drafted. Where have YOU been?

Buffalo next week. Tank WITH Tua. Lose as many games as possible. Draft as highly as you can.

Cards had one of the worst pass defenses in the league BTW.

lol just admit you were wrong when you said the problem with Tua was not his play on the field. It absolutely was his play on the field (for some posters). You're trying to rewrite history again. Not going to work.

So, which teams are you confident Miami can beat? I thought the Cards were on that list? I agree that Miami will win enough games to miss out on a top 5 pick though. Not that it would matter with Grier still around to make the picks.

I'm no fool. I know what kind of team we have. You homers start jumping up and down because we make some nice plays against one of the worst pass defenses in the league.

Sorry, I don’t cheer fools gold. I will not be happy until Grier is fired.

Because they are delusional! This is a bad team.
The smart people knew it after the Bills game.
Tuas return was never going to save anything.
The defence were frauds the whole time we weren't scoring. What Qbs were we playing in that stretch?

I don’t think the D were frauds unless you expected them to be top 10 before the season, they were solid until today and were missing one of their best overall players on D in Sieler.

Guys, the offense didn’t lose this game. Tua didn’t lose this game, it was the defense and the horrible snap by Brewer that caused the safety.

The Cardinals had the 18th ranked passing offense in the game. Our defense make them look like a too 5 offense. They played relatively well in the first half and imploded in the 2nd half.

While the offense may not have been spectacular, they did put up 27 points against a bad Arizona team. This is one time we can’t blame a loss on the offense.

What? No. It hit Tua directly in the hands. He didn't even jump.

Tua Tagovailoa on the mishandled snap that ended in a safety: "I got to catch the ball. That's it."

Re-watch it. The snap was fine.

Played a decent Qb today at home coming from west coast and Monday night game and gave up 28.
This team flat out sucks all the way around.

I agree today was bad, but that was a first. Gotta give the D a chance to redeem themselves before claiming they suck. I didn’t expect much from the D before the season because this team is supposed to run through its O, so for me the D is okay so far.

Agreed it was a decent snap...

Mistakes happen... Nobody is perfect.... The issue is that we need near perfection or we lose.

That is why everyone needs to be fired and we have to start over.

The margins are so small here that unless we play flawless we lose...

And now a week before the half way point... our season is over.

No, your position is ludicrous. Some concerns, like injuries, have existed since pre draft, and exist still today. Other concerns, like that he couldn't put up elite numbers, those were silenced, but the concern that he can't consistently do that remain to this day.

You always want to boil things down to A or B, black and white. You really do have a complete lack of understanding about what most of our argument has been, and that's actually really sad given how often we've explained it.

No, you just lack integrity as usual. Every post you keep making on this subject decreases your already very low level of integrity, going back many years. Even after Tua put up elite stats in 2 consecutive seasons, that did NOT silence many anti-Tua posters regarding his actual play. Maybe you have a very short memory, but many posters dismissed those stats by saying he can't beat good teams, or beat teams in playoff situations. These discussions happened even early this season. It's really not hard to prove what I'm saying is true using the search function. Do I have to resort to that again?

But please, keep acting like it's others misrepresenting you when you misrepresent others AND yourself more than anyone else on this site. And if you persist in these lies I will start linking to post after post showing you are wrong again. Seriously, show some integrity.
