The only two ranked ACC teams are the and FSU, and we play each other this week. I bet there are some pissed off fans in Texas, that's the first time they haven't been ranked in 10 years.
Oregon and OSU are the only 2 I can possibly see moving. Boise definitely will run the table and Bama has gone through the tough part of their schedule already. But who knows, upsets do happen.
It will last as long as we don't suck. We're better than every remaining team on the schedule.... no question about that. It's all about showing up now, which IMO, is our problem to begin with. And Oregon > Ohio State. Oregon is the only team in the country I'd even have an INTEREST in watching against Bama. You all will see it sooner or later.
I'd love to see Oregon vs Bama. I think that would be a very, very interesting game. Ohio State against Bama isn't as exciting but I wouldn't complain.
Oregon would get spanked. Alabama is going to repeat I don't see anyone that could beat them. Not Ohio St, Oregon, Nebraska, Boise, TCU.
It’s a bizarre world when Dolphins fans are talking about a juggernaut team coached by Nick Saban. No, I will not get over it.
Seriously Bama looks like Men amongst boys....I know that expression gets tossed around alot...but never have I seen it more true.
I'm not sure if anyone can. They have a QB who makes 0 mistakes, they have 2 Pro Runningbacks, one of the best WR in the nation and the BEST oline in the nation who can stop that on defense? Defense is not spectacular but they got some players on Defense. Auburn vs Bama is going to be a GREAT game.
Its just Ohio St that doesn't pull its weight against the best of the SEC that year. Don't try to make it seem the Big Ten gets raped by the SEC because they don't.
Not only that but after Alabama its not like their is an abundance of scary teams in the SEC, not that any of that matters bama doesnt win on novelty plays using speed and trickery....they line up run the ball and play good defense, very Big Ten Esque.
Yeah Its even worst when someone who is a fan of a team in the SEC and they chant SEC. Like when Bama beat the 5th or 6th best team in the Big Ten they chanted it right before half time and end game I was like really Bama fans?
How so? They will win out, Ohio St, Oregon will lose at least 1 game. TCU may go undefeated but wont jump beyond 3, Nebraska and Oklahoma will be close. They just have to hope Nevada goes undefeated when they play each other.
It all depends on how well they deal with misdirection. Last year, they had a stacked team and struggled against Auburn's misdirections and veer game. This year, Bama has nine new starters on defense and Auburn's playing well as is Cam Newton. The Veer game is going strong. It'll be interesting to watch. If this game is lost by Auburn, it'll be in the trenches. They struggle with power IMO but that's why they're a inside/outside ZB team. Problem is, Alabama has athletes AND power on the front seven. That's tough to go up against.
Their secondary is a weakness. Kirkpatrick played well against UF but he's been getting torched all year. Outside of Mark Barron, the secondary has not figured out their pattern read responsibilities yet. I'm not saying they will lose any game but would it surprise me? No. Would it surprise me if they win all the games but lose to Auburn? No. This upcoming weekend against South Carolina will be interesting. I think they will end up making South Carolina one dimensional and force Garcia to beat them, which I don't think he can do.
Would be. Nebraska has a phenom at QB they haven't had a stud dual threat QB since Crouch. But in my eyes Bama is just too damn good. **** Saban.
Bama is beastie but It is hard to go unbeaten in a major conference anymore, every team has an "off" week or 2 throughout the year so anything could happen....but they are as good of a team as ive seen in a long time.
God, OSU fans are defensive arent they? I guess it comes with the territory of being the only good team in Ohio. I believe the SEC has the head to head adantage in Bowl games against the Big 10. Agreed, the SEC is weak this year but historically speaking the Big Ten has not played well against SEC teams.
Big Ten has the all-time record against the SEC in bowl games. and its split down the middle 13-13 past 10 seasons.
Anyone else interested in a Georgia Tech - Alabama match up? Not championship game but just a match up. I'd love to see what Alabama would do on defense against GT's Wishbone.
