Bottom line our K missed 2 makeable field goals and missed them both the same way . Other issues to be sure , but this should have been an ugly win .

Oh yeah how about that play calling. 3 Timeouts and we don't even work the middle of the field? Instead throw 3 fade routes to Hartline. Brilliant.

Loss is on the coaching staff and Carp. God damn pathetic.

Both coordinators crapped the bed in the 2nd half in my opinion. Sherman's play-calling I think is well-documented. But Kevin Coyle with the continued all-out blitz on 3rd down, whilst leaving Jimmy Wilson in one-on-one coverage; that's a bad recipe. That, and leaving Richard Marshall in press man against Santonio Holmes all afternoon was very bothersome. The safeties didn't do much to help things either over the top.

Why would this game be on smith when Clemons was badly jammed up at that long play and Wilson gave up then inside td?

I'm upset but again...not that upset. I saw what I needed from Tannehill today. Stat line be damned he played well and they REALLY need to have more trust in him. Also to stop calling deep passes when we just don't have the athletes to win enough of those battles down the sideline. If you're going deep it needs to be over the middle IMO on post routes, deep crossing routes etc.

We need to get on the phone with KC about Bowe. He isn't staying in KC, they have no playoff shot and he's said before jokingly he'd love to play here.

Lots of bad decisions, when it comes down to it Carp missed 2 field goals that should have been made. Long in the NFL these days is 55+. 47 and 48 yard are routine these days.

Should have run the ball to get the ball closer though. Ice the kicker is always a toss up. If he would have made the iced kick and we blocked the 2nd people would be praising the coach.

Every time we play the Jets it's the same ole song. We beat the piss out of them, but don't come away with the win. The last time I can remember the Jets being the better team was the Ginn fluke return TD's game.

Inside 50 our kicker is paid to do his job. He failed. Simple. Crappy beard and hair doesnt help. I dont want a hippy winning us a game. Im old school but not 1970's old!

How is that relevant to what I said at all? The entire reason they DIDN'T deal him this offseason was the fact they had playoff aspirations in their minds.

And yes with Bowe I'm confident we WOULD make the playoffs. Regardless of what anyone wants to believe we aren't that far off from being a very very good team.

IMO, NFL Kicker's should be searching for a new job if they miss 2 in a game(especially a game winner at home).

When the coach tells us our receivers suck (Hard knocks)...then you know we are in for a long season!

I'm upset about this loss, we give the game away in a silver platter, but you know what, it's ok,we got a young team, a rookie QB and HC, Bush went out and still we were the better team, basically we did lost because of Carpenter, sure a loss is a loss especially against a team like the Jets, which are simply a pathetic team, I'm seriously looking forward to see the Dolphins getting better as the season progresses, let's take look at other side of the fence, the Jets fans are probably super happy about this win, without realizing that they got no team, they are really bad, I'm looking forward to play them again in NJ.

Let's also not kid ourselves. If the Jets had any competency at QB, they could have had 2-3 easy TD's on throws he just flat out missed. The defense played well, but our pass defense needs serious work. I mean he'll, how about just signing another adequate CB.
