It was yesterday but beating the Patsies was what I wished for! So far so good...

 

i love how we ran that awesome play 4 times, and it worked beautifully 3 times, and the one time it didn't work, Ricky tripped with a wide open field in front of them. New England can't defend it at all!

 

Where are all the people who called Porter an idiot for talking? I ask because all I'm hearing is praise.

the thing im most excited about is the lack of penalties by our offense. we have been able to move the ball for a while but always shot ourselfs in the foot with dumb penalties and sloppy execution. it's refreshing to see our o put together a drive without the mistakes...somebody pinch me.

 

Alright, what did Tuna do with My Dolphins team?

Did he replace them with athletic pod people or what?

 

mine was in july I might take this as my bday christmas hannukah kwanza .....

 

Lets be cautiously optimistic this looks like a great game but with MOSS and our defensive backs its far from over... Im having a good day so far!!!!!

If we win I have some crow to eat publicly.

 

That's one of the best halves of football I've seen this team play in a long, long, long time.

Actually I believe Ohio St used the so called "hog" formation before Arkansas when Ginn was at Ohio St. Could be wrong though.

I agree. I have not seen us play football this good since probably the last time we beat new england 21-0.

 

I've got to say, Chad Pennington is playing better then I've seen a Dolphins Qb play in a 5 years, so far he is hitting on all cylinders and looking like the Qb who has that career efficiency percentage in the hig 60's, he looks great so far.

This reminds me of the No Name Defense Dolphins with David Woodley at Qb with the way they are splitting Penny out at Wr.

 

I agree if the Fins can put up 21 in a half so can the Pats. Since the Fins get the ball first they need to at least get 3 points to keep the Pats demoralized.

 

I agree he has guaranteed alot, but I admire a guy who goes out there every week and believes no matter what the record he can win...........

The second half of this game will show us what this coaching staff and philosophy is all about. I want to see smashmouth football. I want to see us go for the kill. I want TD's not running plays up the middle to eat clock. I want us to destroy NE.

So is it going to be Wanny ball to protect the lead or are we going to do to NE what they did to us last year? I want 38 points or bust.. KILL THESE *****ES

 

Lol, we're a rebuilding team. Let him yap all he wants. If we lose, it wouldn't be anything new. If we win, he looks like a genius

 

Exactly, this is a veteran team, they are not going to roll over and play dead, not a chance, if anything we have to dial up the intensity to finish the job.

 

Pats make the best halftime adjustments.. We HAVE to keep scoring and play all 60 minutes.

 

we need to come out and score points right away this half......never get complacent untill that clock says 0:00 in the 4th

My Bills fan buddy called me telling me to keep it up lol. Buffalo is having their own issues with Oakland, but he hates the Pats and wants first place.

 

OK... so its halftime, were up 21-6. and getting the ball first. We NEED to go down the field, and score again on this drive. Run, short passes, whatever, just eat the clock, move down field and SCORE. That puts NE in bigtime desperation mode.

Defense NEEDS to keep pressuring, but we cant blow any assignments down field, especially to Moss and Welker. Just keep doing what were doing, and watch for NE's adjustments, and learn from them. Dont get burned!

Special teams... TACKLE! TACKLE!! TACKLE!!!

In general... NO STUPID PENALTIES, and NO stupid MISTAKES!!! Its time for this young team to learn how to play with, and protect a win.

Keep them calm and keep them executing Sparano!

 

THis is a young team....this is where the coaching staff teaches them to step on the neck of the opponent and not just not let them up...but break it....

For a half of football, I am happy...

 

This game is huge because imagine this: if the Bills lose they are 2-1 (0-0) in the division, if the Jets lose they will be 1-2 (1-1 division), if the Pats lose 2-1 (1-1 in division), and if the Fins win they are 1-2 (1-1 division). So this game is huge in keeping us in the division race. However that Jets game will be even harder to swallow but I hope the AZ game was a wake up call and the Fins can finish this game out.

The old Dolphins would have played to protect the 14 - 6 lead going into halftime trying to run out the clock. This is a new age with the Dolphins trying to score on every possession.

We get the ball to start the second half. We need to drive it down the field and at least get a FG out of it. Make it a 3 score game and demoralize the Pats. We have to play all 60 minutes. And this is the test for Sparano to keep the guys focused. If they don't stay focused we WILL lose this game.

 

BTW KC looks terrible this year.

-Stop the run
-Jam Randy Moss at the line
-Pressure the QB
-Keep attacking
-Must continue to run counters and 'trick' plays
-Keep running. 4.6 ypc for Brown.
-Get the ball in Ronnie's hands. We have a record above .500 with him getting 20 touches. He has scored three times.
-Keep the low amount of turnovers.
-Keep Pennington on his feet.

 

And as a rebuilding team we need our vets to work hard to set a good example for the youngsters. Running your yap to the press during the week does nothing to help them out on the field, infact it can become a distraction.
