    Did anyone really think that we were playoff bound ? This is a first step in a long process and its obvious that it will take longer than many of you think.

    We can take solace in that we will get better but it may take three years before we are a playoff caliber team.

    In the meantime we can enjoy the rebuilding process and look for he positives instead of accentuating the negatives.

    IMO, the difference between the Cards and Dolphins is simply Boldin and Fitzgerald. You swap those two to Miami for any two of our WRs and we beat them. :up:

    Not with this pass defense. Hate to admit it but even our
    receivers would have had a field day today against this secondary. As difficult as it is to imagine.

    I don't see anything in your post that disputes my point. If Brady had been injured in the 4th quarter in one of those games they were up by 40 and piling it on, nobody would buy into the "defense job to stop them" B.S.

    But sweet motivational speech though.
