water filter

Dupont water filter faucet mount. I bought it at Wal-mart. I think it was about $25-30.

I will say the water comes out remarkably slow, but its well worth the wait. May not me the think for you if you would get annoyed. I turn it on, fill up a huge jug, walk away and come back to it overflowing. Keep the water in the fridge.

I've had the same filter for almost 2 years now with no noticeable decline in taste. Plus it looks nice.

Just buy the base model though. The one with the digital counter is apparently worthless.

This is what we have under our kitchen sink...works great. water to the faucet is filtered. it also filters the water to the ice maker.

I prefer the pitcher. Filtered water comes out slower, so it can take it's sweet a** time trickling through the filter while it sits in the fridge. It'll be cold too!

I use these at college since I can't attach permanently attach anything to the faucets.

Pretty beastly, they only take about 20-30 seconds to fill. Clear2O is the brand.

I like the on the faucet type as some of the pitcher style systems take too long to filter through the carbon to fill the pitcher. Also, just the fact that you have to fill the pitcher over and over again.

So true, the install of the filter under the sink is a cake walk if you have common sense.

It's just an in-line system right? I have the one on the fridge now and it takes a $50.00 filter about twice per year. How often do you have to replace yours?

Pur water pitcher AND faucet filer. When I lived overseas, I used both simultaneously. Pitcher for drinking, faucet for cooking. Worked great.

30.00 filter lasts a couple years or so.

I know the ice tastes 100 times better with a filter....

I'll NEVER own a pitcher again after finding out about plastic leeching...if I could find a glass pitcher I'd be willling to filter then transfer it...but you won't get me to drink from anything sitting in plastic for large amounts of time less I'm on vacation in w 3rd world country...

i use the brita ultramax and i love it

always cold (which you need esp. in florida), really easy to dispense with the spigot, and it holds a lot of water
