This is only my opinion but I think Ricky Williams was being showcased during todays game for potential trade partners. I'm not going to say it's going to happen but it wouldn't surprise me if Ricky is traded by Tuesday. I wonder if Denver may still have interest in him? HMMMM!

Why trade him when Ronnie can't play a full season?

Nope, i dont think thats the case. Without Ricky to go along with ronnie, i dont see the wildcat being anywhere near as successful. At least with Ronnie taking the snap, and ricky getting the handoffs, or being used as a decoy there is at least a threat that if he gets the ball, theres a great chance he could also take it all the way, not just ronnie.

All I know is there is no doubth they used Ricky more today then they had the previous weeks, and who says Patrick Cobbs can't move up the depth chart, and they bring one of there 2 other backs from the practice squad. I'm not saying it's going to happen but it wouldn't surprise me.

Why would they offer him one more year here just to trade him?

We'd be lucky to get any thing for him anyway.........you think a 7th round pick is going to be a better player then him? If Bill and Tony thought that, they'd be playing their rook from last year and would of cut/traded him last summer.

I wish he was, however it looked more like Cobbs being showcased to me. JMO.

IMO the main reason why we don't need to worry about RW being traded. No one is going to give up anything near what a talent like him is worth due to all the baggage.

YES, ALONG WITH A STUPID GAMEPLAN! Ricky is NOT as good as Ronnie, early mistakes leading to loss... When Ronnie gets going early the Dolphins are the most successful. RICKY BEING IN THERE INSTEAD OF RONNIE WAS STUPID! Ricky did have a couple of the best runs he's had but he is not the gamebreaker Ronnie is and shouldn't have been out there so much, especially early.... JUST DUMB
