Used to be on youtube but cannot find them now Youtube search function is clogged with absolute crap.
I don't think so. He was about 6'6 and 240 at draft time in '97. Not sure about the injury in '98. Something happened though because he appeared to be on the come in '98 only to slump badly in 1999. What year was it when we played the Jags in regular season maybe a Monday night, and Boselli abused him like a worn out rag doll?
Jordan is a better prospect than JT, stronger, faster, more agility, what we dont know quite yet is those elite instincts and if he's got the work ethic and focus of a JT, its a lot to ask but we might have the reincarnation on roids.. He'll be taught to put in the brakes and apply swim move..the special athletic ability can adjust..this is a player that doesn't play high, plays low..he's awesome to study.. Kipers got it right imo, top 10 player.
I think it is a stretch to say that Jordan is better coming out of college than JT was, particularly when it comes to athleticism and strength.
I'll disagree with you on that sir, from an athletic/size standpoint, I think he could be a transcendent type player, Sheldon being 2nd... Lets revisit after the combine once we see them up close, their bodies, the way the move, explosiveness, quick twitch stuff, should be a fun combine, for me anyways..
I just don't see it. I see a guy who has great athleticism but very limited skill level right now. He's not the pass rusher he is billed to be, and you are basically comparing to one of the all time best pass rushers in the league.
Eh, we'll see Deej what I did not see from him was the sort of 'extend arms and stand tackle up, shed, make play" that JT was really good at doing. As for Jordan himself, it really does depend on how serious they are about attacking opponent's passing games, if they are forward thinking he'd make sense if he is on the board, if they do what they've nearly always done, just scratch him from the menu.
I concur, the way he gets off the line from what I have seen in video reminds me of Sapp. He also chases people down field from the DT position! To me that means two things: 1) effort and 2) athleticism. Some guys I think we see at #12: Floyd DT UF Richardson DT Missouri (if they rate him that high) Warmack OG Alabama (If TENN does not take him then we likely will imo) To be completely honest with you, I think Dion Jordan will be a bust. What I have seen of Ansah on video on the other hand tells me he could have the JPP type impact with further coaching. He is fast, strong, and surprisingly has decent instincts for a guy that just started playing football a couple years back. Edit: Just read that Jordan will have surgery after the combine for a torn labrum as well. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...l-scouting-combine-what-we-learned-from-day-3
4 picks on the OL/DL? Aren't we past the inside part of building inside to out? Fanbase would lynch Miami unless we had one hell of a FA period and signed 2 solid corners and 2 WR's and a starting TE.
