Here's the mock I released on February 1st. I know there were picks that aren't close (ie: Eagles) but nonetheless, they were put there based off needs. So is this a NFL mock or GML mock? If you were making a GML mock I'd say you should get get the draft order. So I'm guessing this is an NFL mock. Too high - Glennon, He is really going to have to impress at the combine to get taken top 10. Too low - Sheldon Richardson, I see him as the 2nd best DT in the draft so I find it hard to believe he gets passed up in favor of Williams and Jenkins.
Yep, NFL Mock. As of right now I think Glennon is the top QB. We've seen teams get desperate quite early for QBs in recent years, so it wouldn't be a surprise. Put Geno at 9 because the Jets always make a pick that surprises many and it could be Geno to come in and compete for the starting job. And I'm not a huge fan of Richardson tbh.
Too many WRs in the first round in that mock, typically you see 3 WRs taken when you see 5-6 WRs taken you get something like this: 2004 - 5 WRs (Raushan Woods, Michael Jenkins), 2005 - 6 WRs (Troy Williamson, Matt Jones, Braylon Edwards), 2007 - 6 WRs (Ted Ginn Jr, Craig "Buster" Davis, Anthony Gonzalez). I believe those were the only years with 5 or more receivers taken in the first round. Needs more OT in the first round, as I see it you have the two elite tackles so far but there's going to be a couple more for sure. The guards are drafted too high. Are the Bucs really going to draft another S that high after taking Barron last year and converting Barber? Just a few things are off, but it's a decent pre-combine Mock.
