Just thought I'd throw up a few because there's a lot of diamonds that could be mined this week.

Correl Buckhalter (Westbrook could be out at least a week)

Brady Quinn (Everyone agrees Anderson sucks)

Brian Griese (Throwing a s load of passes)

Rashad Mendenhall (might be taken, but if not get him bc hes starting this week)

Hank Baskett (Brown is still not in good shape. Baskett is inconsistant but has had big games)

Fasano (should be a nice backup)

I also scooped up Selvin Young this week since Den plays KC. Now turn those turds into Diamonds.

Already swooped on Griese and Fasano. Griese put up about 22 points last week and really saved some fantasy leagues. Fasano is on a bye so if you need a TE to start, might wanna pass on him for now.

Mendenhall should be no more than a bye-replacement. Likewise for Buckhalter. Westbrook did some walking off crutches and should be gone no more than a week. Baskett is too inconsistent so he too is likewise.

I grabbed Fasano to back up Cooley and maybe eventually be used for an upgrade.

Another one to consider in a week or two is Stallworth. Cleveland blows and will most likely be playing from behind. He'd be a 3rd passing option but if they throw that much then he could turn out to be an ok fill-in for a 3rd WR.

I notice Carlson's always available. He needs to be picked up (maybe after the bye). Same for Slaton.

Unfortunately, even Braylon's not doing well. Anderson just can't get the ball out and when he does, the WR's drop em. They just can't throw. With Ike Hilliard getting to know Griese, I would consider him against GB with Harris out. Another guy that's not well owned for a bye-replacement is Matt Jones. Le'Ron McClain looks like a real deal and Pierre Thomas looks to be getting goal-line bids. I'd also keep an eye on the Rudi Johnson issue. People hate Jerramy Stevens' issues but he can produce and with a QB that can target TE's, he can see a lot of passes thrown his way in the end zone.

I would avoid Hank Baskett. Most of his points came on one 90 yard reception. He's simply not getting the looks you need a fantasy WR to get. DeSean Jackson is still a superior play.

Jackson's likely gone on all leagues by now.

And Robert Meachem could get more looks with Shockey out. (I hope you started him Desides over Smith and Walter)

That doesn't mean picking up Baskett is a good move.

Let's put it this way; if Griese threw 67 passes, it might be a good idea to pick up a Tampa Bay WR. Ike Hilliard, perhaps?

Exactly. I wouldn't touch the rest of the Eagles WR's with a pole.

Even before Griese was chucking passes, Hilliard wasn't doing so bad. But Gruden trusts Griese and the son of Bob has put him gaudy stats in the past before injury. I picked him and Meachem up to replace Wayne and Moss (cut the Seahawks D and Vernon Davis).

My pickup of the week was Ronnie Brown. In one of my leagues someone cut him sunday morning. I was #3 in waiver priority, and got my bid this morning. Best timing ever!! The stars aligned to allow Ronnie to join my team. I was badly in need of a RB.

im going more for Antonio Bryant... hes been targeted way more...

and i picked up Fasano after week 1 and he is my new starter... he is tied for first in TE fantasy points in standard non-PPR leagues...

He was my LT insurance as a waiver pickup but didn't start him. Not like I needed him that week but now I have a logjam at RB.

McMichael may be a decent pickup this week, since Trent Green is starting.

I dunno, McMike's been on blocking duties for some time and Green will have trouble against the rush. Beats any other option though.

Hilliard is a good idea. Antonio Bryant is long gone so he's prob the best option.

Carlson's productivity fell off a cliff this week btw. I would think it will only continue to decrease since Sea's Wrs are starting to get healthy.

in my keeper league, we can only keep players that aren't taken in the first 3 rounds. I picked up Ronnie late, knowing he would likely be a first round pick next year. I also got Bush in the 4th round, who 2nd in scoring overall. I'm going into next years draft with Brown and Bush in my back pocket. I'm gonna be able to load up on QB, and WR early. Im gonna dominate!!!

Last year I lost the championship to my uncle. This year, I'm 3-0 and in first place alone. But next year, my team is gonna be f-ing crazy!!!

I still think he's a quality #2 TE because Hasselbeck and Holmgren are really raving about him. His "off" week was 38 yards, that's typical of other TE production. Jerramy Stevens did well with the better WR's (they had talent in Engram and Jackson) so there's no reason Carlson won't do better.

Now that LT is back, you can trade Ronnie without feeling bad about it. Find an idiot and get a lopsided deal; Ronnie for TO and Matt Forte, maybe?

True but didn't exactly do much here with our TE's. THe OL needs to block well for Green to hook up with McMike and they haven't done it.

screw that. i'd rather trade LT. darren sproles is going to be stealing a LOT of carries from LT. Especially against weak opponents in the second half. I think Ronnie will end with better numbers than LT this year.

Already got Forte so that's out. Looking for deals but right now Ronnie's on a bye so it might be a while. Even then, I'm kinda happy with what I got so far but around Week 10, I'll need to find a WR.

    I disagree with everything here.

Back in the Cameron days, LT's carries would go down and Turner's carries would go up as the game progressed, to the point where Turner was pretty much the #1 RB by the 4th quarter. Made no difference in terms of LT's numbers. I see no reason why Sproles would impact LT's numbers as well, especially after last night. Sproles will be used a little more than normal just to keep LT fresh, but he's hardly an albatross around LT's productivity. Also, if Sproles is going to take LT's carries against weak opponents in the second half, doesn't that mean LT dominated them in the first half and so already put up incredible numbers for your fantasy team?

Right now, just with the amount of idiots out there, you could get more for Ronnie than LT. People will honestly think he can put up 5 TDs every week, and you can raid their rosters in lopsided trades more than you could with LT.

Ronnie is absolutely the better trade piece.
