http://twitter.com/BenVolinPBP/statuses/273830991410393089 Not really sure how Babin and Coe relate, but I digress; does this spell the end of Amaya?
Likely the end of Amaya. Does Coe play well on Special Teams? Hey, Coach Rizzi, your new gunner is here.
some info SCOUT.com So I assume he will be capable of picking up the system decently and understands X's and O's. 2007 Draft http://ind.scout.com/2/642538.html That's fine, except it means even more zone, imo, and less man coverage. Guessing he'll be a rotational #5 CB though I don't knwow our depth chart that well by now at CB. lol. Who do we have... Smith, Carroll, Stanford... aaaand... um? Coe? Could live with that. This is key. Losing Amaya hurts special teams and Special Teams have been a BIG part of us competing this year. Sounds perfect and glad he was available. Good depth. Wonder why he's been released by Coltys and Giants? Clearly the flaws are showing.
Juyst roster-spot-wise. Which is silly, imo. We have dead weight we could drop for talent. If a player is good you have no issue getting him onto a roster. It's if he sucks that you have to agaonize over who to cut... but then, why would you pick him up anyways? As badly as we need pass rusheres, I think Babain has some dirt going on or something that has organizations shying away. Who the hell avoids a recently productive player at a premium position unless there is a big (unsaid) reason?
David Allen Coe is going to halftime shows now? Oh, and we have no chance at claiming Babin, he'll likely already be claimed and if not claimed that is not how Ireland does things..we have Shelby!
He did ok as a nickel back for the nyg the last few years when he was healthy enough to play. Guy seems to be hurt on the regular.
