$100 is a no brainer. Amazing system with so many quality titles.
Need to try and find a decent gaming laptop as cheap as possible, hopefully on black friday/cyber monday. although that's like finding a unicorn. any tips ?
I was actually looking at laptops (though not gaming laptops) on Best Buys website today, and was pretty bummed. I worked for years and years selling them before my store was closed and I was laid off, and prices always gradually came down while quality gradually came up. But its been three years since then, and it seems like the same quality laptops I was selling in 2013 are now more expensive than they were back then. Seemed like a decent one costs around $600 to start. i5, 8gb RAM, 15.6" screen.
PS4 Pro for $370 right now.
Square-Enix deals are up. Most games 50% off at minimum.
Steam Autumn sale. Now.
Some good deals in there. If I hadn't already played it on the PS3, the PS4 version of the X/X2 remaster for $9.99 is worth it.
Here's a google doc for all the Black Friday sales. Title, price, and retailer.
This is amazing.
Cheap *** Gamer does not play around.
They do have a heavy console bias though. Most of the games on that list are console games.
They tweet out PC deals too. Seems like that list is pretty much representative of physical games first and foremost.
Then it's not "Cheap *** Deals", it's "Cheap *** Physical Media", which is not the same thing.
Lots of good deals on that list. If I didn't already have my gaming schedule full into the future, I'd pick up the PS4 ed of GTA5. I've been waiting for it to drop like that for a long time. The skyrim remaster for $25 would have been very tempting a few months ago too.
Managed to get Titanfall 2 PC for $29.00. I'm happy.
Cyber Monday deal at Amazon: PS4 Pro is $340 right NOW. I'm a little annoyed, because I bought the $370 deal from ANTOnline. But there was no real way to know Amazon would discount the Pro this much.
Mass Effect 2 for free on Origin App right now.
Most games buy 2 get 1 free week of March 5th at Target.
Is that online or in store only? That's a hell of a nice deal.
I don't know if its online or not. Its a scan of the upcoming newspaper ad, which I would think certainly applies to in store. If I had another game beyond Horizon: ZD that I was interested in, I'd wait the five days and get it on Sunday, rather than Tuesday. But I really don't, especially after picking up Civ 6 earlier this month.
In years past, I believe that they've done this more than once. I picked up The Witcher 3 and MLB The Show as part of the sale in 2015, and I know that I took advantage of it a few times before that as well.
I've taken advantage of Target's buy 2 get 1 deal in the past and it is both online and in-store. Unfortunately Wii U and 3DS games are often limited in their deals.
NieR Automata PS4 version is $45 at Amazon. Best Buy is price matching. If you have GCU, you can get the game for $35.
Rumor: Steam Summer Sale begins June 22
Rumor was true. Steam summer sale is happening right NOW.
I picked up Shadow of Mordor for 4 bucks and Enter the Gungeon. Will probably also snag Witcher 3 GOTY, Civ 6, and Neir Automata before the sale ends as well.
Hopefully Friday the 13th goes on sale too.
I don't expect any new deals beyond what's already on there. They've gotten rid of flash sales, too. Probably under pressure from publishers.
I've spent $150 on the Steam sale already.
Steam link is $15 plus shipping
ME Andromeda is on sale at Amazon for $11.47 on the PS4, and $13.57 for the XBOX One. Damn good deal for a fine game.
ME:A is also being added to EA All Access
Steam Halloween sale.
Steam autumn sale. Now.
Titanfall 2 deluxe edition $15 on origin.
I was talking to someone about game deals yesterday, and realized that over the last year and a half, I've gotten eight new games, but only paid full price for one, Horizon Zero Dawn. Getting games the day that they come out isn't quite as big a deal to me as it once was, and you can generally save about a third of the price if you wait a month or so.
Lots of games on sale at Target this week. All Lego games are $19.99, and I'm thinking of picking up both the newer Marvel game and Ninjago. Waiting on The Show until it gets cheaper later on, or a B2G1 sale.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided PC $4
Just Cause 3 XL is like $6.50
I picked up Deus Ex, the season pass, and JC3XL for like $13 on Thursday.
Yeah Deus Ex for $4 is an absolute steal. Worth much more than that. I was thinking of jumping on the JC3 as well. I have the base game but never bought the DLC.
Sony PS4 controllers have dropped to $49.99 at Walmart, if anyone needs one. Picked up my first new one since I got my system four years ago today.
So uh, they're $39.99 at best buy (all colors).
Just my luck, lol. I checked Amazon and Target before i bought mine. Should have looked harder!
