Again, these are my own rankings. Have fun tearing them to pieces. Tight Ends http://www.universaldraft.com/?page_id=158 Offensive Tackles http://www.universaldraft.com/?page_id=162
This dude does not play pretty but he gets it done. Ya wonder if he goes any higher than his current given grade. Slight typo, should be Byham. Great blocker though. Great stuff.
I know what you mean. I agonized over a few pics in the OT rankings. Two and a half weeks from now, things will be a lot clearer. Can't wait. I get to to go to Thursday's practice.
Does that mean you think Quarless is adequate enough for this regime? (I know you know I really like him)
Where does everyone see Aaron Hernandez if he comes out? I mean 6-2 250 and runs 4.51. I think he would go in the 2nd
Any opinion on Dennis Morris from Louisiana Tech. he's only 6'2" (265 lbs) but he can catch. he seems to be off everybody's radar which makes me put him near the top of my UDFA wish list. Maybe spend a 7th even
That seems like a reasonable grade for him. From what I have seen he has a very hard time blocking, it was just pathetic. That being said he could dominate as an H-Back.
Pathetic blocking? No way IMO (Don't get me wrong he needs work). I mean the Gators don't really line up for power runs very often and he rarely was asked to stay in a block. Because of Florida's offense its hard to say how good he is. However he blocked well out in space (V.s. CB's, S's, and LB's) but he will get dominated by some DL just by his size alone. He is going to be an H-Back type but he can really stretch the field and run after catch.
You don't have to do that, I'm just going through and showing whats been updated in those terms as it has been a while since it was updated. I may just hold off until I get them all done and just post a thread for that.
Yeah, the coaches meet and greet and the game as well. Leave here on Wednesday and come back on Sunday. I will meet up with Chris and Alen there.
I think when all is said and done, Jimmy Graham will be drafted higher than 4th or 5th round. JMHO. Call it the homer in me.
Haha, no just I don't know man....he very well could and I do think this regime will take a tight end at some stage. In that logic, he very well could be in the mix, but, if the regime values production on a regular basis as a criteria, then he may not be that highly valued. It also depends how the whole process works its way out as well over the next 4 months. He could test well, and prove he deserves more consideration - period. Or he could prove that his mercurial play for stretches is what it is; inconsistency. Is that enough to hold him down? Again, I don't know in any real way at the moment.
After watching that Wisconson TE single handedly OWN the Canes, do you think he might go higher? I had never really watched him but that game made a nbeliver out of me...excellent blocker and caught everything thrown his way. He looked like a man amongst boys and really handed Miami their hat. Fans in the stands were going...."who is that guy"... why cant enyone stop him"? I was asking the same thing.
Well, he's not exactly buried on the depth chart there, he's 5th; which I think is fair for him right now. I agree he's played well, and he's done well in the Big 10, but there nothing outlandish there. Could he go higher absolutely, and in reality just cause he's 5th, doesn't mean that there is some amazing difference between him and #4. A team's offensive philosophy may make one more valuable than another etc.
Con - just a formatting FYI, when I open up the page the text is displayed in white, which means the page looks empty to me. I'm using Chrome for my browser, not sure if that makes a difference or not.
Apparently it does. You're the second person using Chrome that has said something to me. I am running the latest versions of everything......hmmmm, unless I am missing something. The only other issue I have is mobile...ugh. EDIT: I may have found an issue, that I will fix tonight. Thanks. If one person says something, it could be their own programs, but two or more likely means its my issue.
Does this project him out to be a 4th or 5th rounder then? Whats your best guess? Man, after watching him in action I would LOVE to get in in aqua and orange.
Are you thinking of Garrett Graham the senior or the junior, #84 who was KILLING them, Lance Kendricks?
Aaron Hernandez has now declared for the NFL draft http://www.nfldraftbible.com/Latest/hernandez_declares.html
Man the OT rankings are tuff. Right now I think I like it in this order- Davis, Okung, Campbell, Williams, Brown. And wonder where Iupati can work his way in. At Tight End I would not be mad at all if we got a Hernandez in the second or a Graham in the third. I also believe Dorin Dickerson can be a matchup nightmare in the pass game.
Right now I've got him as a 3rd rounder as noted on the table. I'm pretty comfortable with him there right now.
Honestly, I was pretty pissed during the game (tailgating....whats that???) but I'm almost certain it was #84 and almost positive he was a tightend....no, I am POSITIVE it was a TE. If you watched the game there was no mistaking this chap...he was killing the canes both blocking and receiving. I thought it was Graham but I honestly may have been mistaken. Did anyone else watch this game and know who I'm rambling about....
Of course...I saw that....no, really..... Hey, if this guy could do half of what I saw against the canes he would be a steal in the third round....
Graham is raw enough,I think we can pilfer him in the middle rounds,a 6'8" target goes a long way to stouten up our offense over the middle, that kid is the middle when he's in
