Curious what the hold-up was for Clemons, but nonetheless I'm glad he's getting his rear into camp. Now let's get the White deal done and get down to business.
That's awesome. Glad to see we have everyone signed on time. The front office seems to make this a priority every year (well, at least for the last 2 years). Glad to hear White will be there, I personally think he'll need more time as opposed to less, particularly if he's learning to play WR.
you cant help but ask, what couldve been if Jason Allen didnt have that ridiculously long hold out, and as a rook, jumped into the fire and perhaps into a stable roll. this is very very nice.
I think we might see some players put on PUP. Alleman, Camarillo, Marion, Martin. We may not have to cut guys right away.
That was my thought also, but does the PUP list affect a players ability to start the season? I'm pulling for Camarillo. He is a hard guy not to like.
As I understand it, guys can be put on PUP list and taken off without it affecting their availability for the beginning of the season. If they were put on the PUP list after the first regular season game, then I don't think they are allowed off of it until week 6.
iam not sure how one can be worried about the salary of a 2nd round pick. Draft picks dont have to prove themselves before they get paid, last time i checked
There are 2 lists .......hope this helps http://www.examiner.com/x-778-Houst...-on-the-physically-unable-to-perform-PUP-list
According to an Twitter update from Omar, we cut JD Quinn and placed TE Jared Bronson on the reserve, did not report list.
Huge kudos again to Jeff Ireland and the FO. This is the way to start a TC, have EVERY player and DP in camp, learning and growing together. Way to go Jeff!
