Dolphins still have Myles Gaskin as well right?
They do so him and Ahmed are back together again.
That’s an unexpected bonus.
Better to receive a draft pick, even a low-round one, than nothing at all, for a player that the organisation was going to cut anyway.
One has to wonder why the Jets would trade for someone that was going to be cut anyway...
They thought he would be claimed by another team on the waiver wire.
I spent 1.26 seconds wondering and the next 10 minutes rolling around on the floor laughing.
I guess Gase really likes Ballage.
I know some people here liked him. Honestly our run blocking was too poor to determine the worth of any back on our roster.
I read that Le' Veone Bell wants out. Not happy with Gase. Maybe this is there plan B before they cut him. Gase is gutting the Jets. What a beautiful sight to behold.
I had high hopes for Ballage, but he's got a long way to go before he figures this out and time isn't really on his side at this point.
There's a thread on Finheaven entitled "Ballage Era Comes to an End," as though this guy should have any kind of "era" attached to his name.
Oh no, you simply look at film and divorce the performance of the individual player from what's going on around him.
Kind of hard to do that at HB when your job is to go through or find a non existent hole.
Sure there will be plays where a back misses something and you can grade that negatively, but th there was never an opportunity to show anything positive to offset it.
Ftr I dont mind losing him. I wasnt impressed, but I dont think he could have done anything to make the run game a success regardless.
I'm rooting for Gase to do just enough that they keep him around for another 5 years!
Why, pray tell, did you waste so much time!
Gase is the gift that keeps on giving!
According to CBS Sports, Ballage failed his physical and the trade is off.
