Side dishes are just filler for the good stuff..........unless it's mashed potatoes. Can't get enough of that.
I couldn't sit on a secret like that. World had to know. Dwight Howard's fashion ain't got nothin on 305
I guess the Dez Bryant bidding is now open FYI. Didn't think I'd be dealing with this for at least another week or so.
I'll be back later................................................................................................................
Anyone want Lynch's caddy for the past couple of seasons? Robert Turbin. Only 25 (I even looked it up, word). Has a ring. Probably likes dogs even.
Tentative deal in place for Dez Bryant unless something happens fast. Bound to be ripped on it Certain GM found my player weakness though to move Dez.
Interesting move. Not in line with the approach I thought Van took last year but if it works...good trade on both ends.
I look at it this way. Green Bay's line was negatively rated overall in run blocking. Put him behind Dallas' 2nd ranked run blocking unit. Boom! He's going to see bigger holes...more 2nd level blocking. He's an excellent drop off outlet to. Over 10 yards a catch. And really I should have kept Murray over Dez. Now I got as close to Murray as I can...a couple picks and Murray probably picks me up at least a 4th round comp pick On the plus side GIK thought he had franchise tag trading killed. Whoops
You mean how Van all of a sudden loves Eddie Lacy, when last season he didn't bother to vote for Uncle Fin -O when HE had him?? Yea, let's fight
Its not a bad trade. Just makes cap room a bit tight which is why there was no way I'd have traded Thomas. Your roster is more complete though so the space isn't as important.
"You may trade or cut tagged or tendered players once said player is officially on your roster however their contract is fully guaranteed so you will take a full dead money hit right away. Once a tagged or tendered player is traded, his dead money charge can be changed to ($0) since the penalty has already been paid in full by the original team." So basically you decided to take on Dez's contract fully guaranteed contract and allowed Paul the ability to take off 20 Million in cap space at any point unpenalized for just Eddie and a 2nd? I would have asked for a 1st at least if I was going to eat $20 million regardless.
he got the 34th pick plus a 4th (that's equal to a first in my book)... and he got Lacy... and he's going to get a 3rd/4th on Murray when he gets bid up in free agency. And just so we're clear, I'm not trading Dez Bryant.
Not saying it's too bad talent wise, just the implications of carrying over $20 million, but at the moment it kills two birds with one stone as it can drop your free space significantly, to like $1-5 million depending on what you had. Then again you can always pull a GISH and save Dez til the last minute when no one has any cap space and then dump him and sign him for cheaper, but then Dez would get a guaranteed contract again for the team that signed him...which makes me think why can't we trade FAs if we can do the same thing to tagged players. I mean could you imagine UFAs getting modest contracts because of fear from being bidded up then having them traded only to be cut, then we'd have this vicious FA cycle of cuts and resigns with players getting multiple guaranteed money :scannerheadexplode:
@Jason LaCanGlazer Aaron Rodgers told me this morning after hearing Dez is on his way to GB "he made a hell of a catch in our playoff game" @Jason LaCanGlazer #QBWRlovefest
