Forgive me if I don't take you and your 12 million in cap space seriously......and you can make it whatever you want, I'll be matching.
Lets see: Vince Young - 8.5 mill Adrian Peterson - 10.7 mil Jacob Bell - 6 mil Chris Canty - 5.25 mil Kevin Williams - 6 mil Yeah, that over half your cap on 5 guys, pretty sure you don't have 10 mil, let alone 40 mil for Manning.
Look on the bright side PSG you'll have three first round picks soon. #19, #23 will give you a chance at Ryan Mallet or Jake Locker!
Nah, I have Matt Flynn and Peyton Manning. Like I just told someone via PM, I've come to terms with the fact my GM League season will come to end in 2 weeks, when I use all the cap space I have to match whatever silly offer Tennesee or Detroit (or Minnesota) makes for Peyton.
They are all wasting their time. If any of these teams really wanted Peyton, they could get in contact with me and we'll talk about my demands. But I can tell you, those demands will be more than 2 firsts.......
I don't understand why people don't believe me when I say I will match any offer, regardless of price.
Like 16th I think, he's gonna get a real shot now that he's out of that shthole. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Veteran GM's are taking the new guys to school imo, sure it happened to me, learn from it. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
I'm assuming I'm am the one being referred to. It's fine though I personally have a different view of the value of a RB than some do. What I will eventually get out of that trade will net me what I feel sets the jags in the best position for success over the long term. Plus with the money under the cap I have will allow me to offset what I would get out of the picks I dealt in the deal.
Wow and a minute before midnight the Eagles do it again....that dude is fkin magical. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
I didn't feel like it was a bad trade for you. I think it depends on how you look at it and how much you value draft picks. I value draft picks very highly (as you know) so I felt it was a fair trade. Adding Moreno to the deal made it a more difficult to judge. IMO it went like so: 1st round pick (2) - A++ Knowshon Moreno - B 6th Round Pick (183) - D- 1st round pick (16) - A Maurice Jones-Drew - A- Mike Thomas - B- 3rd round pick (93) - C- I valued MJD as a late first round pick, Mike Thomas as a late 2nd round pick, and Knowshon Moreno as a mid 2nd round pick. That's just me though..
Maybe he hasn't won every trade but all of them make sense and you can't argue with that roster...screw today its been a crazy "onesided" year! Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
I definitely think he got the better end of that deal there, but I'm just curious to see what he does with 3 of the best young tackles in the league. Okung, Albert, and Oher. Oh my. Maybe move Oher to guard?
I thought your trade was even and fair, especially considering who you’re obviously going to draft at 1.2.
