White I'm honored my man. Very nice write-up -- thank you. ;)

And me and CK as coordinators? I like our odds!

Now let's get out there and kick some ***!

You need players. Remember, the players play the game, not the coordinators..

Sorry to interrupt the limelight, you may have it back now.

Mel Kiper Jr. : Value. I go for value early and late. And I think Ronnie Brown's Town has had a fantastic start in terms of that. To begin, they drafted the number 1 player on my board, quarterback Boomer with the 7th pick. Sure, BBC's system gives him a lot of easy reads and open receivers with whom to work. However, you don't finish the regular season ranked first nationally in passing efficiency unless you're making excellent decisions and accurate throws.

Ron Jaworski: Agreed. You know Mel when I was with the Eagles, John Wooten, one of the best personnel directors of all-time, always said, defensive line was the No. 2 priority in building a team. First you find yourself a franchise quarterback -- then you immediately find guys who can chase (them).

    Mel Kiper Jr.
: And they've found that chaser. An AFC film man who compiles highlight tapes of draft-eligible players told me earlier this week that the two easiest tapes he has made in the '00s were of former Auburn running back Darren McFadden and Pink Dove. "Every play is a highlight," he says. He's the most relentless pass rusher in the draft, having led the Big East in sacks the past two seasons with 11 in 2006 and 13 in 2007.

Ron Jaworski: One NFL offensive coordinator told me he watched every one of their films and he kicked the daylights out of everybody he lined up against. Quarterbacks ran for their lives to get away from him. He would get to the sidelines, and start smashing hockey sticks, in frustration of being doubled and tripled. Just an animal.

Mel Kiper Jr.: Tremendous flexibility as well with those top picks, Ron. You've got a DE that can line up in the 34 or 43, and a quarterback that can run a West coast offense, just as he can run an Air Coryell type offense. They're both the best of friends as well. All in all, it's just an incredible fit, and great start for RBT's.

Whats funny is Wooten's philosophy is what Ive always followed when building a team. To me when you talk about impact players those are the 2 positions I think of first, QB and guys that chase them (usually a DE depending on the defense)...

However Pinky, you were also drafted because youre familiar with my defensive gameplan as per the All Time Draft :)

OMG ... just catching up. You had me ... well ... rolling with talk of "wheel routes." But then I saw you chose to give me an immediate weapon to work with in The Mor, and let me just say ... defenses are going to be devastated.

I would like to go on record and state that if I am drafted by any team I do not want to play for, I have no problems using my father, and brothers influence to holdout,

    sincerely,

Or you could pull a Deion and tell Detroit not to draft you because you won't play for them (Detriot being Sams team in this case)

That precedent was started by none-other than old Horsey Face- John "I am the most over-rated QB ever" Elway.
The lowly Colts did indeed draft him, and he immediately told their FO that they better trade him or he would retire (Before playing a down) and join the MLB instead... :wink2:

Yup. And for 10 points, what MLB team had Elway in their system? (Answer here)

Actually, I thought that was pretty common knowledge.
