I will say, I just about had a heart attack when I saw a score on ESPN's bottom line the other day: USA 1 Brazil 0. I said, "holy ****, last week we tied Argentina and this week, we beat Brazil?!?" Alas, it was women's soccer. Seriously, why can't they just run the damn women's scores in pink, or at least use a girlie font with hearts over the Is and such?

Hey, sorry to go OT but where did Chauncey Washington end up? I keep thinking Redskins.

 

Jags. Not bad of a pick though. Reminds me of a 2003-Ricky Williams-lite if he can continue staying healthy. Fast enough to juke corners (me) or strong enough to bowl over them or LB's. This was a guy predicted to beat out Bush and White. Complements Maurice Jones-Drew very well despite coming from a rival college....err...preschool.

 

Ooo, I didn't know he went there. I still can't believe he ran a 4.4 flat on his pro day. I thought he would run a 4.6.

 

Oh he can be fast, I've seen it. Outran me in HS practice every day and don't even get me started on trying to tackle a 215 lb RB heading straight at you with that kind of speed. It's injuries ranging from common to bizarre that keep him down.

 

Oh yeah, I remember you telling me your were his HS teammate or along those lines. Yeah hes a big guy, I just never knew he had that speed. I personally hate USC but he was one of the few guys I liked from that team, along with Mauluga (sp?), Rivers ( went to my high school), and Patrick Turner.

 

Yea, funny thing was, he's actually a UCLA guy but his grades weren't up to par so he went to $C, where your $$$ or how much $$$ you'll give to the athletics dept counts. Frankly, as long as you become a Dolphin, I would not mind where you came from. Or maybe just a little bit if it's Stanford...

Because of all the schools I applied to, Stanford was the only one I didn't get into and wanted to go (and that includes a list of Harvard and Yale). Plus, some of the guys I know who got in were total pricks and people you'd like to snap like a twig. That and my dad is a Cal alum too...

I guess I know how $C fans feel when they don't get into UCLA. Except in my case, I was totally qualified.

Haha, if I was smart, I'd have gone to Harvard instead of thinking UCLA would give me the same benefits but cheaper (curse the quarter system).
