Unconfirmed: New Xbox 360 model

    In this case, it's not a troll or a neckbeard. Guy's 360S died after he transferred data from his old to his new. He's not the only one.

    If it's just a software issue, it can be patched.

    And let's be honest, NeoGAF is much worse than SA.

    i was tempted to trade in my pro for a new one. is data migration a problem? i got my 360 at launch so i wonder if its possible to transfer data to the new 1 easily. thanks!

    You can buy a data transfer cable or just copy everything over via USB thumb drive.

    It takes FOREVER with a drive.
    Your best bet is to put it overnight.

    Gamestop checks if the seal is broken and/or if it red rings. If either one of those occur, they tell you to take a hike. If you have a 360 thats broken (tray wont open, or its fried...you still get credit for it. They plug in to their portable tv (which all of them SHOULD have) and technically supposed to play it for 10 minutes. Technically :shifty:

    Thanks for the responses fellows. I decided I'll just hold onto my 360 and possibly buy a PS3 instead. Or just save my money altogether, we'll see.
