You look boxing's most anticipated heavyweight boxing fight in years. And then minutes later, you flip over to UFC 132 and you see why more and more people believe MMA has surpassed the boxing.

Yet another exciting, entertaining card from Dana & Co. Top to bottom (from the Facebook prelims to the PPV title fight) a fantastic night of fights. Action packed. Just another in a great string of events by the UFC, who are doing it consistently without many of their big fights/champions due to injury.

Cruz-Faber....a title fight that surpassed even the greatest expectations. I really hope a lot if people watched that. It will have done nothing but endear newer fans and the uninitiated to the 'new' lighter weight classes. The pace was incredible. The scores didn't surprise me. With every round being so difficult to score, you knew it probably wasn't going to reflect just how close and competitive this fight was. But one thing's for sure: we need to see that again.

You had Dana telling Tito 'win or it's over', and Tito getting it done for the first time in 5 years (longer if you don't count that it was Shamrock's corpse he beat back then) and finishing someone other than Shamrock for the first time in 10 years. I'd hate to be the guy who broke that streak (Bader). And of course, Tito does his dickish burial celebration and then the title strap move.

Lots of KO's, namely Leben pretty much shutting the door on Wanderlei's career and Condit blasting another contender. Last three fights: One Fight of the Night and two Knockout of the Night's. Condit's now 12-1 the last 5 years, with the split decision loss to Kampmann two years ago.

Interestingly, Leben said in the post-fight that Wandy has always been his favorite fighter, and that he's never been more scared going into the cage than he was this fight. :27 seconds later he put him to sleep.

Melvin Guillard....talk about an evolved guy. Dude grew up and is on a tear. I thought tonight was a step down in competition going in (and so did he). Hopefully he gets a Top 5 guy next time out.

Faber vs Cruz 3 rubber match is going to be epic.

I didnt watch live, but did find replay stream...and I think Faber took rds 1, 3, and 4 but it was close for sure.....agree with Joe Rogan's comments wishing for PROF REFS that know MMA (Wrestling & Boxing).
