6'3" 335 pounds, should compete at Nose Tackle for us.

Rated 52nd of 149 DT's in the 2008 draft by NFL Draft Scout.

Not certain why he was rated so low or why he was undrafted, maybe one of our resident guru's can shed some light; could be because teammates Carlton Powell and Barry Booker got the attention instead. Could also be that at his size he was ill-suited to the 4-3 set that VA Tech ran.

It seems to me that he has that prototypical, fireplug size for an NFL Nose.

And his performance on the field - the QB pressures and the blocked field goal (on the final play against Northeastern to preserve a shutout!) - seems to belie his timed speed.

Maybe this is the guy who finally makes Soliai, um...make or get off the pot?
