lol Just bc you value your job that much doesn't mean that everyone else on the planet has to. Certainly doesn't make anyone dumb for not caring about it as much as you do. Saying everyone should is very dumb, imo.
what does me valuing my job have to do with my personal experiences? You should really re-read what I posted because I didnt write anything in there about people giving a rats behind about my job… And I certainly didnt call anyone dumb for not caring about my job. Frankly, I could care less what you or anyone else thinks of police officers. It is job to me that is it… now talk about the Corps and we will have issues!
lol Defensive much? You said RW couldn't stop smoking weed for his job. lol That's like portraying him as some "addict" who loses everything bc of the "drug." It's just not accurate and is basically perpetuating the stupid stereotypes people have for marijuana. He really just lost his desire to play football and therefore didn't care if the weed would violate his contract w the NFL.
like rose with an mmmm in front of it… very common name…. Heck I have 4 Mroz's living in my house alone...
If anyone thinks RW's biggest problem or the source of his "issues" is marijuana, then I really don't think they know **** about RW or his background.
No, I don't think that is accurate at all. He was suspended before he quit caring, not the other way around. History often teaches us much if we study it enough.
Right, well he does have a Social Disorder, but that doesn't even affect him like it used to. He is now doing lots of public gigs here in Dallas. Lots of big fund raisers that has him speaking in front of huge audiences. EDIT: Not to be an A-hole, but it seems like you are very much on the defensive about whether or not pot is good or bad for you. That is really not what this entire thing is about, at least not from me it's not.
Defensive? no, I really dont care what people think of cops. Hell, on of my best friends hates cops. you are making excuses for RW, he was a marijuana addict who couldnt stop smoking it knowing it was going to cost him is job. BTW, RW did lose everything because of marijuana, then when he finally realized it he stopped smoking it so that he could get some of it back. BTW, an addict is an addict… doesnt have to be marijuana or any other type of drugs. Some people are addicted to certain foods, drinks… for me it is donuts… we all have our vises… doesnt make them right.
That's putting it mildly. But yea it does seem like he's getting much better now. Not at all. But I am annoyed when people try to perpetuate stereoptypes that are out there. It's just really irresponsible.
lol @ "Marijuana Addict" That whole post is just irresponsible, imo, and I think it's unfortunate but not surprising that you happen to be a PO. And I'm not making any excuses for RW, simply saying his psychological problems are the root of everything, not some evil evil plant that destroys peoples lives
But no you use that word addicted like you're talking about meth or crack, etc. Irresponsible and inaccurate.
You're a police officer I'd hope you'd be able to tell me. But if you don't think there's a few huge differences then idk what to tell you.
IDK, How about you tell us about cigarettes's physical dependencies and withdrawl effects to start with? Look, I am not saying marijuana is bad for you if used in moderation… like anything else… but when you lose a multimillion dollar per year job because you cant stop smoking it you have a problem. When you are on the verge of making millions of $$ and get kicked out of school because you have failed over 10 drug test… well, you have a problem. IF you dont want top call it addiction fine.. you can call it what ever you want… but there is an issue..
Why? They're way worse and legal so I don't see how that'd help your point. You value money more than someone else does so you think they're crazy, that's an issue. And we're talking about RW not Mathieu.
Of course that's a problem. But the problem isn't that he's addicted (because he isn't), the problem is that he's an *******. The Felony Badger is not an addict, he's an egotistical dbag. I guarantee you, off the record, he doesn't blame himself. If he did, he wouldn't make him staying clean everyone else's problem bu sayiong whatever team drafts him is going to have babysit him.
Exactly You have no idea what I value and what I dont value… And I am talking about both of them as it relates to their behavior. Lastly, I dont think RW or Mathieu are crazy, I think they have/had an addiction issues that they need to address. I dont think any less of them.. we all have our own demons to deal with. They have their… you have yours… I have mine…
lol Yeeea. Uh yes, I do have an idea of what you value when you say someone's a nutcase for not taking a million dollar job.
When did I call anyone a nutcase? AND OK, if it makes you feel better to think you know me… you know me… feel better?
there is a difference… And if you really want to know why I dont like RW (or honeybadger) it is because they failed to meet the commitments they agreed to. That is what I value, your word… when you say you are going to do something you do it. You dont quit because you have found something that is more interesting to you… at that moment. I hold the same position on the WR from WSU…
Irony. In RW's case it certainly seems you fall in to the category of people that feel FB players should play as long as they (the audience) wants them to.
not at all, I expect them to play as long as they desire to play. Just like I expect you to do whatever it is you do until no longer desire to do it. However, if you make a commitment to do something you should do it. RW didnt quit football because he didnt want to play. He quit because he know he was going to get suspended for smoking weed. He also at some point figured out that he needed football more then football needed him so he altered his behavior and came back to the NFL.
